Background / History
Zhurong joins Xuanzheng’s work on Pangu Hall, using his True Fire to temper a Blazing Sun Divine Crystal for the hall’s defensive array. When Xuanzheng organizes the Buzhou Mountain stabilization project, he puts Zhurong in charge of smelting divine materials, shaping them, and supplying firepower against stubborn rock 11 15.
His first attempt to combine Geng Metal Divine Iron and Mysterious Yellow Mother Qi for Pangu Divine Concrete nearly causes a furnace explosion. Following Xuanzheng’s precise instructions, and with Jumang’s Heart of Jianmu Fragment to harmonize the materials, Zhurong produces the first successful batch. He later develops a water-and-fire metal-tempering technique with Gonggong, his former frequent sparring partner 22 33.
As Pangu Group expands, Zhurong continues to serve in construction, industry, and combat. He helps strip Zixiao Palace of its assets by devouring its Zixiao Dao Fire, assists Ye Fan in reforging the Myriad Mother Qi Cauldron, and is appointed to oversee the new world’s fires, stars, and ley-line energy supply 541 545 554.

Personality
Zhurong is hot-tempered and eager to act. He initially dismisses controlled, segmented smelting in favor of fiercer flames, but changes his approach after Xuanzheng’s method succeeds. His rivalry with Gonggong includes bickering and competition, though they learn to cooperate on construction and resource-gathering work 21 22 33 576.
He is loyal to Xuanzheng but does not always understand his plans. After receiving Solar True Fire origin, he promises to follow his younger brother’s lead; much later, he mistakes the proposed “IPO” for a kind of fierce beast 46 537.
