Background / History

Creation and original condition

The Primordial World was created by Pangu—later identified as Pan, a programmer who broke away from the Sea of Chaos Order Maintenance Council. Using source code, he established it as an open-source system outside Council control, intended to evolve genuine life freely 586 590.

Its creation left congenital defects. Pangu's exhaustion during World Creation produced an imbalanced foundation: eastern spiritual energy overflowed while the West became barren, and damaged earth spirit veins worsened after successive calamities 109. The world also lacked a “standard lifeform” combining a strong body with the capacity to cultivate the Primordial Spirit, a flaw Xuanzheng used to frame the Human Race Creation Project 98.

Xuanzheng's restructuring

Xuanzheng began treating flaws in the Primordial World's laws, spirit veins, and geography as repairable bugs. Early projects corrected local deviations between spirit veins and earth-vein dragon energy, then culminated in restoring Buzhou Mountain's dragon vein and eliminating its structural-collapse risk 8 34.

His later projects transformed the world's political and metaphysical order. The Netherworld became an organized reincarnation system; the Pangu Group sought control over reincarnation, merit, destiny, infrastructure, patent law, and the distribution of spiritual energy 63 105 109 110.

After completing the Heavenly Dao Ownership Correction, Xuanzheng acquired the Core of Creation: Pangu's Heart and the authority of Pangu OS: Genesis Public Beta, granting him access to rewrite the world's underlying laws 121. He later unlocked the Heavenly Dao Rules · Reconstruction Module, with editable settings ranging from spiritual-energy cycles to Saint-making methods and calamity triggers 224.

Inhabitants and Governance

• The world contains the Three Realms and Six Paths, including the Witch Clan, Demon Clan, Human Race, Dragon Clan, Saints, rogue cultivators, Netherworld entities, and numerous other races 63 105.
• Under Xuanzheng's reforms, merit, karma, loyalty, contracts, patents, and market value increasingly replaced lineage and traditional sect status as measures of opportunity and authority 105 150.
• The Totem Warrior Plan offered races diluted Witch Clan essence blood in exchange for allegiance, branded totems, and participation in the Pangu Group ecosystem 111.
• The Human Race was created as a solution to the world’s Innate Dao Body Deficiency and became a protected strategic partner of the Witch Clan 98.
• Xuanzheng's infrastructure projects aimed to turn the world into a self-circulating ecosystem with balanced spiritual energy and a unified ecological network 109 110.

Threats and Crises

• Buzhou Mountain collapse risk — A structural flaw in the Heavenly Pillar threatened the world until Xuanzheng's repair project restored its dragon vein and removed the bug 34.
• Malevolent Qi contamination — A massive source beneath Buzhou Mountain corrupted Witch Clan warriors and endangered construction efforts; Xuanzheng proposed transforming the pollutant into spiritual earth treasure qi 23.
• Abyss of Return — This force repeatedly attacked the world's order through Terminus aura, logic viruses, conceptual overwrite, and attempts to erase or regress its laws 133 134 343.
• Abyss of Return Colossus — A giant formed from the remains of a ruined universe approached the Primordial World as an extinction-level threat before Xuanzheng turned its destruction into a coordinated defense exercise 137 138.
• Chaos Demon Gods — Ancient beings beyond the world became aware of its growing power after the Chaos Engine began drawing energy from the Chaos Sea 121.
• Sea of Chaos Order Maintenance Council — The Council attempted to format the Eternal Pangu Realm and later activated a Karma Tracing process capable of restarting the Sea of Chaos region's server, threatening the world’s existence 540 588.
• “It” — Hongjun's memorandum identified an unnamed entity powerful enough to threaten the entire Primordial World; the True Realm was presented as a possible escape route requiring conversion into pure information 520.

Relationships

• Pangu / Pan — Creator and original system architect. Pangu established the Primordial World as an open-source system intended to evolve true life beyond Council control 586 590.
• Xuanzheng — Administrator, reformer, and eventual owner-level controller. He repaired the world’s defects, acquired Pangu OS authority, and reshaped its laws and governance 121 224.
• Heavenly Dao — Original operating order of the world. It dispensed merit for beneficial repairs but was progressively patched, edited, and superseded by Xuanzheng's authority 34 224.
• Hongjun — Former Dao Ancestor associated with the Heavenly Dao. He was later exposed as using law-like “data pipes” to siphon energy and information produced by the world’s spiritual-energy tides, calamities, breakthroughs, and deaths 550.
• Sea of Chaos Order Maintenance Council — External governing force that regarded Pangu as a rebel system architect and sought to format or harvest worlds, including the Eternal Pangu Realm 540 585.
• Pangu Group — The organization that became the Primordial World's dominant operator, using its infrastructure, souls, laws, resources, and later multiversal expansion as core assets 63 497.
