"Caslo?" Caslo had just stepped out of the castle when he heard someone call his name. Following the familiar voice, he spotted Ajax standing gracefully to one side.

"Be careful on the road. Come back safe!" Before Caslo could say anything, Ajax threw herself into his arms and silenced his unspoken words with a kiss.

"Tsk! Youth really is wonderful!" Roland stood on the castle balcony, watching the scene below as he smacked his lips, looking absurdly old-fashioned.

"..." Nyx rolled her eyes behind him. You were not even twenty yet, okay? What were you pretending to be so mature for?

"Caslo should be able to resolve the kingdom's predicament on this trip. We can finally sleep soundly," Roland said, naturally wrapping an arm around Nyx's waist.

"You've worked hard lately." Roland rubbed his chin against Nyx's head. While Yun Feng had been busy with alchemy, Nyx and Lance had shouldered the kingdom's administrative affairs. Relying on Roland? Everyone would probably starve nine meals in three days...

"It's nothing. This is what I should do! I'm your queen, and this is my kingdom too! Working for it is the duty I must fulfill as a noble!" Nyx said softly, wrapping her arms around Roland in return.

"Fly a little higher, Caldo! Don't let anyone else see us!" Caslo patted Caldo's back from a hundred meters up in the air. A Dragon Knight flaunting himself through the skies was terrifying enough to cause panic among the people below, and making such a spectacle was not Roland's order. Naturally, Caslo needed to disguise their passage.

Once they rose to a thousand meters, the giant dragon in the sky looked no larger than a bird from the ground. Unless someone watched carefully, they would never realize it was a Dragon Knight.
