"No, you came at just the right time! There's some government business here for you to take over!" Roland waved Adolf Heinrich over, but Adolf Heinrich felt as though he was stepping onto a road of no return!

"What is it?" Adolf Heinrich frowned. Had King Roland gotten bored after two peaceful days and decided to seek some excitement?

"Right! How long are you planning to train those Gondor soldiers?" Adolf Heinrich looked up at Maple Forest Youlan.

"Talking without practice is useless. We can't keep feeding those soldiers for nothing, can we? How about having them share some of the pressure on our infantry?" Adolf Heinrich asked.

"Winter is here, food is scarce, and the Orcs that had been lying low before have come back out! Today, Orcs even raided one of our small villages. Six households were wiped out!" Adolf Heinrich's brow was tightly furrowed.

"How is that possible? There should be garrisons around every village and town! At the very least, there should be a squad of soldiers, right? These wandering Wasteland Orcs broke through the ranks of our Lagrange City Guards to raid them?" Roland asked in disbelief.

"And what about the locally organized militia? Where the hell were they? In broad daylight, under the clear sky, a village was actually slaughtered by Orcs?" Roland gritted his teeth so hard they creaked. Six households were probably a third of a small village's population! Such small villages would never stand alone in the wilderness. That meant there had to be a town nearby, with several villages like it scattered around the town. Those small villages had no regular kingdom garrisons, but they still had locally organized militia, and the town would definitely have several squad-level units of the kingdom's regular army!
