"You have to believe me. Letting that crowd of ordinary people get involved so early isn't a good thing for either side. You're being too hasty, Nick!"
Standing in the middle of Nick's office, Strange looked at him sternly. "The fact is, they're good at screwing everything up. Everything!"
Nick did not get angry. He merely sighed and said, "Stephen, I understand that you've existed as a genius since childhood. You always see flaws everywhere in ordinary people and think their efficiency is far too low compared to yours."
"But I hope you don't forget who we're carrying out this plan for. The main body of humanity will ultimately still be those inefficient ordinary people. A small number of elites can lead society, but they cannot control it, much less isolate themselves from it."
"I never said I wanted to isolate us from society." Strange pinched the bridge of his nose. "You're always good at twisting my meaning. I'm saying that, in the current Solar System Development Plan, most jobs haven't yet reached the point where ordinary people can do them."
Nick shook his head again. "That's because you've been away from Earth for too long. Look, Peter's uncle, Ben Parker, is an ordinary person, but through learning on the job, he has become the Chief Engineer of the Manhattan Shuttle Main Station, making the leap into the elite middle class."
"That is the purpose of our development: to provide more jobs, higher pay, and more valuable work, raising the productivity and standard of living of all human society by a whole level."
Strange sighed as well. "Have you ever thought about where Peter Parker's genius intellect came from?"
"Are you a bloodline supremacist?"
"Of course not. My dad couldn't even get into community college." Strange looked Nick in the
