Schiller sized the two of them up first.

The woman wore a very typical witch's outfit, with long, curly red hair draped down her back and red light gleaming in her eyes. The man, meanwhile, was extremely short and looked as though he had dwarfism. His features were ugly as well, and in the dim light, he even resembled a monster.

Schiller found himself suspended in midair by magical force. Clearly, the witch-like woman had acted. He was not at all surprised that he had been discovered, and he even had the leisure to greet them.

"Hello," Schiller said.

"Who are you?!" The witch frowned deeply.

"Wait, wait..." The short man seemed to have noticed something. He circled Schiller once before returning to his original spot, staring at Schiller's face. "You're Schiller, Schiller Rodriguez?"

The witch immediately turned to him. "You know him?"

"Don't be so surprised. He's famous—the world's most renowned psychologist... Ha! An utterly talentless ordinary man."

"Then I suppose you must have seen me here because I'm so ordinary," Schiller said with a smile.

The short man suddenly seemed like a bomb that had been lit. He let out a shriek.

"Ordinary people are always this blind! All they see are superficial things, like a handsome face or noble bearing, but they can't tell who has talent! They ignore the golden souls beneath every ugly appearance, just like the Hunchback of Notre Dame!"

"The Hunchback of Notre Dame was taller than you," Schiller said.

The short man choked on his words. Within seconds, his face turned bright red, as if someone had grabbed him by the throat, and he let out a ducklike squawk.
