Metropolis. In a bar invested in by Luthor Corp, glasses were raised high and clinked together. Foam splashed before one smiling face after another.
"Cheers!"

Clark gulped down several mouthfuls of icy sparkling wine, let out a satisfied sigh, and fell back into the soft sofa, rubbing his head against the fabric upholstery.

Bruce immediately burst out laughing. Diana rolled her eyes at him, yanked the cork from the bottle, poured herself a drink, and said, "Ron saved our lives. Otherwise, this guy would've made us watch that movie."
"Good thing you didn't watch it. The plot was terrible beyond belief." Ron's voice came from behind them.
"Oh, come on." Clark quickly raised his voice. "It was enough that you watched it by yourself. There was no need to share it with us!"
Lex walked over, took the last open seat on the sofa, and said, "Although that movie came from a neighboring world, I heard its director is from ours. Both worlds are taking turns embarrassing themselves."
"If I ever get my hands on that damn director..."
