Through Brainiac, Schiller watched everything that had happened at the Abandoned Factory. The whole affair was both laughable and exasperating.

The most reliable person in the entire mess had actually been Joker Jack.

He had executed Harley's plan almost perfectly. Although some of the operations in the middle had achieved results that were a little too good, they had not strayed far from the main plan. He had even stayed behind cautiously and had nearly managed to rescue Harley.

When Joker became as dependable as Batman, Batman naturally ended up looking as ridiculous as Joker.

The two Batmen had gone along and accomplished nothing except making trouble with their suspicious natures. Pamela and Victor had certainly helped steer things in that direction, but it was still a little too much like watching comedians at work.

Schiller did not know whether it was because of the Batman Joker aggregation law, because these two Batmen were not very capable to begin with, or because Amanda was such a drag on the team. In any case, the plot was racing wildly in a less serious direction.

Schiller felt that when Batman learned Congress intended to transfer Amanda away, he would surely be deeply grateful for Congress's wisdom. Unfortunately, Amanda was an extraordinarily stubborn woman, and she would not let the matter rest.

Sure enough, Amanda flew into a rage upon receiving the news. She slammed her hand onto the table, then swept everything off it.

"No, I'm not going to any goddamn Washington!" Amanda said. "They can forget about making me give up New Jersey!!!"

Injustice Batman frowned. He could see how unwise Amanda's move was, but Amanda, consumed by rage, would not listen to his advice.
