Peter opened the app. The first thing that appeared was a disclaimer so absurdly long that no Spider-Man would ever have the patience to read it. Naturally, he could not be bothered either, so he scrolled to the bottom and tapped agree.
The app did not have many functions. It included a navigation system, an electronic guidebook for reference, and a personal interface. Peter played around with the navigation first, but found that it was really just a modified version of the ship's navigation system. It was easier to read, though slightly less precise. For example, it could now only show which orbit of the Solar System they were on, and its movement tracking lagged somewhat, making it less accurate.
Then there was the guidebook, but before he could examine it closely, Miles nudged his arm with an elbow and said, "Say, why do we have to go?"
"You don't want to go?"
"Of course I do. I just think it's a little strange. Couldn't they just send drones to do things like surveying and data collection?"
Peter sighed. "Didn't you already start community college? Haven't they taught you about the structure of the universe?"
"You may have some misconceptions about community college. Yesterday, I just learned how to bake a cake using premade mix."
"Fine. The Milky Way Galaxy is enormous. Even if humanity sent out every ship and drone it had, it still couldn't explore every single point. That's why everyone has to mobilize this time. Even students from the magic academy who haven't graduated yet, and newcomers who only recently awakened their superpowers, all have to go."
"So that's how it is," Miles said. "Why not find help in the Multiverse?"
"Then are all these Spider-Men from our universe?"
"No, I mean, why only Spider-Men?"
"Because we're
