On the sixth-floor corridor, Benjamin limped back while cursing under his breath. He gripped his pistol so tightly that veins stood out on the back of his hand.

Ever since becoming a senior agent, Benjamin had never suffered such a serious injury. A penetrating wound was undoubtedly one of the most painful kinds of injuries, and what worried him even more was that he had no idea whether the iron nail had rust on it or whether it might cause tetanus.

Once tetanus set in, the chance of recovery was basically zero. The only solution was to get a tetanus shot as soon as possible after the wound appeared.

Now Benjamin had trapped himself. He had cut off communications, blown up the helicopter, and had not arranged for any Doctor, much less prepared any tetanus vaccine. Even if he started trying to restore communications and transportation now, he would certainly have missed the best treatment window.

The agents had prepared medical supplies, but they were stored in the warehouse downstairs. Benjamin hurried toward the stairs, wanting to find bandages and stop the bleeding. When he reached the dim stairwell, he suddenly saw a faint green glow at the entrance.

Benjamin's heart instantly clenched.

Don't think foreigners weren't superstitious. Their stories about ghosts in old castles were widely spread too, and ghosts came in every color. Green was especially terrifying.

Benjamin took a deep breath and tightened his grip on his gun. He took half a step forward, then saw a little boy glowing green all over standing at the stairwell entrance. Benjamin's heart rate soared.
