Not far from Gotham, above the suburbs, Clark floated among the clouds, looking around in confusion.

He lowered his head to look at the barren hills below, then glanced around again. Seeing the faint glow of skyscrapers in the distance, he had no idea which way to fly to reach Gotham.

Just as he was hesitating over whether to land and ask for directions, he suddenly saw a faint green glow appear in the distance amid the falling snow.

The green light drew closer and closer. Clark narrowed his eyes and looked carefully, only to realize that it was several green points of light, flying toward him in a swarm like fireflies.

Only when they came closer did Clark realize that they were a group of people glowing green.

And it was only when the Green Lanterns flew right up to Clark that they noticed someone floating in midair. Clark looked them over from head to toe, somewhat baffled, but Carol frowned and asked, "Who are you? Why are you here?"

"Uh, I'm Clark. Who are you?"

"Clark? You're an Earthling?"

"Of course." Clark was taken aback by the question. "So you're not Earthlings?"

But upon hearing that answer, the Green Lanterns immediately became tense. They assumed combat stances, and Carol said, "You're lying. Earthlings can't fly!"

"How do you know Earthlings can't fly?"

"Our rings contain the Galactic Encyclopedia. The entry on humans was only recently updated. Humans cannot escape Earth's gravity using their own bodies, much less fly freely. Who exactly are you? What is your purpose on Earth?"

Clark was completely thrown off by his certainty. He frowned and said, "I am an Earthling. I was born and raised on a farm in Kansas. You're the ones who should explain yourselves. Earthlings can't fly, but can they
