In the dark biological laboratory, Catwoman wore an expression of extreme terror. Almost instantly, she sprang onto the top of a nearby machine, eyes wide as she stared at the scene in the room.
This seemed to have originally been a laboratory for plant experiments. Now, all the plants began to sway, smashing through the glass walls of their cultivation chambers and lunging wildly at Schiller.
Just as Catwoman was about to jump down and help Schiller, she suddenly caught a seductive scent of alcohol.
The sound of a bottle shattering was especially piercing in the silent laboratory. The next second, Catwoman found herself in a tiny room.
It looked like a child's bedroom. The room was small; aside from a small window in the corner, there was only a little bedside table, a desk, and a small stool.
Catwoman froze for a moment, but she quickly understood what had happened. The last time, Schiller had pulled her into a mindscape too. While they had been at the amusement park, Superman's exploding consciousness had caught her in the blast and scared the life out of her. She remembered it clearly.
"Whose memory is this?" Catwoman crouched down, frowning. "It doesn't look like Schiller's. He shouldn't be from this era. Is it Pamela's? But why am I in her memories?"
Catwoman looked down at the pattern on the blanket. It was an adorable pink teddy bear, and the little stool sitting on the blanket was pink as well.
Catwoman stood up again and surveyed the room. Rather than a child's bedroom, it was more like a princess's room. Many of the decorations were pink, including the curtains, the bedsheets, and even the frames around the paintings.
Catwoman took two steps forward and found a small schoolbag beside the desk, also pink.
