• Black Horse Messengers delivered a secret letter from Haizhou to the Xuanmiao Sect, where Yuan Du Zi received Muto’s challenge to meet at Luofu Palace on the ninth day of the ninth month.

• Xu Ran killed the Six-Eared Monster, but he and Zhong Yuanlin discovered it had no star core as Yao Wan moved to take the Star Disc.
