After reshaping his cultivation into the Returning True Ascension State, he began hunting True Beasts and concealed how powerful he had become.

• Wei He discovered the Heaven Selection Record’s secret technique, killed Lu Weisheng and two attackers from the Incense Gathering Cult and Chaos God Cult, then moved his family under Wanfei Palace’s protection and traveled to the Xuanmiao Sect.
• Wei He passed the Xuanmiao Sect’s entrance examinations, brought his family to Zhentao City, and began cultivating the Seven Marvelous True Skill while the Wu State’s war with Great Yuan escalated.
• Wei He advanced to the seventh level of the Seven Marvelous True Skill and offered Zhou Muqing a Warrior Attendant position before demonstrating his mastery at the outer-line assessment.

Wei He survived the Guangci Cult’s attacks, completed Fixed Perception, and opened his supersensory eyes to the dangers of the True World. As war spread and his family faced upheaval, the story left Wan Ling and Wan Xuetian fleeing the ruined Central Province.

• Wei He moved his family’s affairs toward safety, and Wan Ling left with Wan Xuetian for the Central Provinces while Wei He chose a dangerous mission to complete Stabilization.
• Wei He and Zhou Muqing confronted Guangci Cult fighters, but Three Phases Bodhisattva’s attack forced them into a deadly pursuit, and Wei He killed her and later defeated more True Realm attackers with Yao Wan’s help.
• Wei He and Yao Wan reported the outpost incident, then Wei He secluded himself and completed Fixed Perception as the Xuanmiao Sect fought the Wu Army.
• Wei He opened his hyperperceiving eyes and saw strange growths draining Wan Qingqing, and he protected her, sealed his eyes, and went to the sect to learn about the True World.
• Yao Wan and Cheng Wan explained Floating Matter and the loss of Life Qi, while Wei He prepared to explore with his heightened perception.
• Wei He explored Tianhai Island with Chang Xuezong, seeing Greed Worms, a Human-faced Worm, a Wheel Snail, and the light surrounding the sect’s blessed land.
• Chang Xuezong warned Wei He that a second resonance could cost him most of his consciousness, while Mo Duo and Gongsun Ru destroyed Dragon Court and left the capital in ruins.
• Wan Ling and Wan Xuetian fled the fallen Central Province with the scattered Wan Family survivors after its main force abandoned them.

Wei He survived a Wu State ambush, returned to Xuanmiao Sect, and advanced his cultivation as the sect repelled an attack. He then went to Yunzhou to investigate the Three Faces killings, where his pursuit led him into conflict with Wanfei Palace and White Jade Crown.

• Wan Ling fled the Xue Family with Wan Xianzong and Wan Ying, but Chaos God Cult forces captured them before Zhou Muqing intervened.
• Wei He discovered Zhou Muqing had betrayed him to the Guangci Cult, killed her and the cult fighters, then learned that Wu State was attacking allied territory.
• Wei He joined Lou Shengyue’s family to hunt a Blackline Whale, but Black Cross ambushed them and Wei He killed him after they fell into the sea.
• Yuan Du Zi defeated the Wu forces attacking Tianhai Island, and Xuanmiao Sect later welcomed Wei He back after the enemy retreated.
• Wei He cultivated the fourth layer of Whale Flood Art and developed his Gravity God before agreeing to capture escaped true beasts and investigate Three Faces in Yunzhou.
• After Yang Ling was murdered, Wei He questioned Ling Xian’er, seized her, and ordered Yue Xiaodie to bring him the truth within three days.
• Wei He took Zhao Yuexi to lead him to White Jade Crown’s headquarters, where Shangguan Tong was watching a banquet.

As Xuanmiao Sect withdrew from Great Yuan and settled on Jujun Island, Wei He pursued the Yin Beast Relic and confronted a deadly living monster alongside Yao Wan. Years later, he advanced his cultivation, helped Yao Wan, and began learning about the higher martial realms.

• Wei He seized Shangguan Tong and other True Persons to draw Three Faces out, then killed Qi Lianzi and ended the immediate conflict with Shi Heng.
• Wei He entered the Wushi Sect’s Yin Beast Relic to retrieve Song Shizhen, destroyed its gate, and left Shi Heng furious at the loss of the relic.
• Yuan Du Zi faced Moduo offshore without fighting, and Xuanmiao Sect abandoned Haizhou and relocated overseas as Great Yuan fell to Great Wu and the Great Yue Dynasty arose.
• Wei He joined Yao Wan’s expedition to a Yin Beast Relic on Stone Lotus Island, where the living relic trapped the groups and its human-faced monster killed Zhong Yuanlin.
• Wei He fought the Ghost Person Face until Yuan Du Zi killed it and its master, a substitute for the Thousand-Faced Demon Lord, while Yao Wan survived with a crippled leg.
• After eight years in seclusion, Wei He witnessed Cai Menghuan become Xuanmiao Sect’s Dao Child and agreed to help Yao Wan’s lineage settle a dispute.
• Wei He advanced the Mysterious Lock Skill, sparred with Yao Wan, and heard her plan to join the Demon-Hunting Team and teach him Flowing Water Style.
• Huan Songzi demonstrated the Ethereal State and explained the Sixth Step and Stored Divinity, defeating Wei He in their exchanges and prompting Wei He to consider combining his strongest techniques.
