Background / History

Bronya grew up amid the violence and deprivation of Siberia; the smell of rust and blood was her only clear memory before age twelve. Cocolia brought her out of that environment and gave her a home at the orphanage, where Bronya formed bonds with Seele, Rosaliya, and Liliya. Her faith in Cocolia was later broken by the orphanage's experiments, including Project X-10, which separated her from Seele. 185 190 196

Her body was modified and her emotional center damaged. Severe leg injuries left her dependent on a wheelchair and exoskeleton armor, while a bio-chip could also be exploited to control her actions. 111 123 169

At St. Freya, Bronya initially relied on the exoskeleton to walk.
