Background / History
Fu Hua served as St. Freya Academy’s composed and highly respected Class Monitor. Though she considered its students gifted but inexperienced, she deliberately avoided disrupting their peaceful academy life, believing those ordinary days would become precious once they faced the Honkai directly. 3
Her first clash with Shen Gonglin reveals both her superior close-combat ability and his unusual adaptability. Concerned by his unstable mindset, weak physique, and exceptional talent, Fu Hua takes responsibility for guiding him. She teaches him Mindful Essence, Great Void Sword Qi, and physical conditioning, becoming his martial-arts master despite repeatedly insisting that he should not rely on comfort or shortcuts. 4 11 51 57
During Kiana’s Herrscher awakening, Fu Hua dons Moonlight Knight: Moonshadow to contain her. Even while regarded as a traitor, she protects the Helios and its crew, lures the Judgment-class Honkai Beast Belenaus away from the ship, and fights it while carrying Shen Gonglin to safety. 144 149
After her body dies, Fu Hua preserves herself by binding her consciousness to Kiana through Feather Dust. From within Kiana’s consciousness, she becomes Kiana’s adviser and instructor, helping her regulate Honkai energy, training her even through dreams, and supporting her growth without abandoning her own resolve. 189 210 214 215
Fu Hua later returns with recovered memories and power, attacking Schicksal headquarters while sparing its Valkyries and rescuing Rita. Her return leads her to World Serpent, Kevin, and the scattered fragments of Feather Dust. The recovery process forces her to confront Chiyuan, the conflicting remnants of her identity, and the Herrscher of Consciousness. 265 273 279 287
By the time of her duel with Li Sushang, Fu Hua has rejected the idea of burning away her memories for strength. Though her Sword Heart is shattered and she ultimately loses consciousness after their final exchange, she chooses to preserve the experiences and people that shaped her. 389
Appearance
Fu Hua is a slender young woman whose restrained appearance contrasts with her formidable presence. At St. Freya, she wears red-framed glasses; her gray hair, emerald-green eyes, and calm expression contribute to her reputation for being exceptionally cool. 3

Personality
Fu Hua is disciplined, direct, and deeply guided by responsibility. She values promises and perseverance as instincts that have carried her through centuries of conflict, and she is willing to make difficult choices when others need protection. 210
As a teacher, she is demanding but attentive. She identifies Shen Gonglin’s physical weakness as his greatest limitation and personally designs his training rather than leaving it to others. Her sternness is tempered by protectiveness; she repeatedly prioritizes his safety, even when it conflicts with her own convenience or dignity. 51 57 149
Her experiences at St. Freya gradually soften her formerly aloof disposition. Fu Hua becomes more willing to trust others, share burdens, and value fleeting daily happiness rather than treating attachment as a weakness. She ultimately regards memory—not merely power—as essential to her identity. 159 212 353 389
