In the frigid void, a small number of Cachalot-class Hive Ships that had luckily survived the brutal naval battle were accelerating out of the Baal System under the bedraggled cover of gigantic Tyranid creatures.

Having concluded that the situation was hopeless, the Hive Mind decided to stop wasting biomass and leave behind a batch of fleet seeds for the Leviathan tendril to rise again.

However, the hundreds of Capital Ships led by the Gloriana-class Battleship Iron Fist gave this Leviathan fleet seed no chance to escape alive.

Even though their massive hulls were already covered in scars and the energy flames spewing from their Warp-assisted engines flickered unreliably, countless Capital Ships, led by the Fleet Lord, forcibly intercepted the remaining several dozen Cachalot-class Hive Ships and launched an extermination campaign without hesitation.
