• Mu warned Kira that sending the M1 Astrays into the battle could cost Orb its last remaining forces, and Kira resolved to go after the nuclear missiles himself.
• Lacus urged Xiao Ran to lead an effort to stop both the nuclear strikes and Genesis, and Xiao Ran agreed while insisting they wait for the right opportunity and let pilots volunteer.

• Cruze admitted that he had leaked the N-Jammer Canceller and the location of Xiao Ran’s group, then challenged Xiao Ran to kill him before Genesis’s third attack.

• The Lightning Aegis and Destiny Gundam crippled each other in a close-range clash, leaving both machines badly damaged.
