Xiao Ran destroyed Amalgam bases, rescued Mithril’s survivors and prisoners, and intercepted three American nuclear missiles before crash-landing on a deserted island. Back in Japan, he took charge of an alliance as the global war escalated and prepared to counter threats from the Soviet Union and the United States.

• Xiao Ran destroyed an Amalgam base, recovered machines and valuables, and demolished its Command Center to bury a nuclear bomb.
• Xiao Ran drew Soviet fighters away while Luo’s team raided a factory, then joined Danner's Son after Amalgam’s attacks left Mithril’s other bases overwhelmed.
• Xiao Ran and Tessa led a rescue at Mithril’s ruined headquarters, where they fought enemy forces and recovered survivors before withdrawing to Danner's Son.

Xiao Ran used the N-Jammers to halt the nuclear-powered war, then fought Amalgam’s forces while trying to secure the Peace Accord and capture Renard. After the accord was concluded, he recruited Puente and Luo into the Burning Legion and offered Renard protection and a place on his team.

• Xiao Ran announced the global sealing of Nuclear Energy, declared war on Amalgam, and received authority as wartime supreme commander.
• Xiao Ran traced Amalgam’s activity to Renard’s research base in Cuba, where he and his allies found evidence of a massive mecha and Luo’s team built a hybrid Flight Pack.
• As the Peace Accord Conference proceeded in Sydney, a coordinated attack struck the city and Xiao Ran’s country after the N-Jammer Cancellers were destroyed.
• Xiao Ran fought Annihilation Angel and Guren Gishin while Luo, El-Elf, and the Mithril forces battled the attackers, then captured Renard after Luo and Sousuke Sagara helped defeat the enemy mecha.
• Xiao Ran paid six Participants to secure Chidori and Yani’s safety, resumed the conference, and killed Jiulong after the Accord was concluded.
• Xiao Ran recruited Puente and Luo into the Burning Legion, then explained to Renard that the world’s cycles created parallel worlds and offered to take him beyond his present fate.
• Renard accepted Xiao Ran’s protection after Prometheus issued missions to kill or protect him, and asked whether Xiao Ran wanted him as a follower or a Participant.

Xiao Ran brought Renard and Lizerlute into the Burning Legion, advanced into a Pure Innovator, and secured New Jior as a territory. The Legion spent years uniting its worlds, expanding its research, and preparing the Dyson Sphere and a multinational force for a Special Mission.

• Xiao Ran protected Renard through his twenty-four-hour mission, then welcomed him as a follower and established the Burning Legion’s Super Zone branch, hiring Angie and Anqi to help run it.
• Xiao Ran bought Getter mechas, blueprints, skills, and equipment, then returned to the Real Zone and introduced Renard to the Legion.
• Xiao Ran advanced to A-Class General Piloting Skill and Pure Innovator, then overwhelmed his companions in training and explained how bloodlines and abilities could enhance a pilot’s mecha.
• Xiao Ran took the Galaxy Diva to New Jior, where his team uncovered the world core, fulfilled its coexistence requirements, and brought Lizerlute back to Prometheus as a follower.
• Xiao Ran accepted a Special Legion Mission in Super Robot Wars OG, assigned New Jior to the Burning Legion, and chose an independent Dyson Sphere with an Artificial Sun as the force’s base.
• Xiao Ran spent a year integrating four worlds and three years preparing, while Luo, Renard, and Puente unified research institutions and Cruze established a gene research institute.
• Xiao Ran and Cruze addressed the aging of the territories’ workforce as the research teams developed Getter technology, Mechanical Beasts, VVV Mecha, and specialized combat units.

Xiao Ran brought the Immigrant Fleet into Earth’s war, defeated the Steel Dragon Squad and DC forces, and seized the Steel while seeking a foothold and allies. He met Bian Zoldak at Hades Island and began explaining the fleet’s return to Earth.

• Luo’s researchers developed the three-form CD-1 Type, and Xiao Ran assigned a set to the Galaxy Diva’s pilots.
• Xiao Ran prepared the fleet for its mission, sold two New MACROSS-class Battleships to cover costs, and then received a three-stage mission from Prometheus.
• Xiao Ran sent an advance team toward Earth, where El-Elf discovered records identifying Xiao Ran and some of his crew as members of a vanished Exploration Fleet.
• After learning that DC and the Federation were at war, Xiao Ran chose to approach DC and led a force to Hades Island, where he demanded the Hiryu team surrender.
• Xiao Ran defeated the Steel Dragon Squad and routed much of the DC Army, then identified himself to Bian Zoldak as president of the Immigrant Fleet.
• Jeffrey’s New Jior arrived, and Xiao Ran took control of the Steel, ordered its crew to surrender, and told the captured pilots he wanted them to join his side.
• Xiao Ran questioned Daitetsu and Tetsuya about their loyalty, restricted the Steel’s weapons, and sent the bridge crew and senior officers to the New Jior.
• Xiao Ran met Bian Zoldak at DC headquarters, where Bian welcomed the Exploration Fleet back and asked what had happened during its years away.
