After defeating Alvords and gaining control of Gedim technology, Xiao Ran returned the Burning Legion to Prometheus. The other pilots entered a world under BETA assault, divided among its factions, and began building forces and securing advanced technology as Char prepared to face the enemy.

• Alvords rejected Xiao Ran’s offer to surrender, but Dawn’s charged cannon destroyed the Gedim drones and devastated more than half of Alvords’s warships.
• Luo recovered Nifaline and the unfinished Arcadia from Basco, and Nifaline used her authority over Gedim forces to surround the Impact Legion fleet and compel its surrender.
• Cruze negotiated with the Impact Legion prisoners for the Moonlight Cannon technology, while the Burning Legion received the technology and Xiao Ran chose to return from the mission.
• Prometheus assigned the newcomers to join factions and become guards, so Eshe reunited with her team and they split up to enter the United States, Soviet Union, Far East, and United Nations forces.
• Yuzes took control of Yukon Base through hypnosis, gained authority over its classified research, and arranged for his group to join the United Nations Army.
• Shirakawa Shuu and Sanger rejected Alternative5 and built influence in the Far East, recruiting Kaede Sakon with demonstrations of advanced machines and sending Zengar and Elsam to select trainees for a secret unit.
• Char reached Petropavlovsk-Kamchatsky Base as a BETA attack began, accepted an SU-37 loaded with extra weapons, and headed to the front lines while criticizing humanity’s divisions.

Char took control of the Soviet frontline and prepared the Crimson Comet and Jial Brigades to test new machines against the BETA. As the BETA adapted its attack, Char’s new beam weapons gave humanity a powerful counter.

• Char defied orders, flew into the BETA formation, and killed hundreds of enemies before withdrawing under the Jial Brigade’s protection.
• Char recruited Ficajia and the Jial Brigade by promising new machines and arranging for her to reunite with her son, while Ingram began developing new units at Area 51.
• Ingram joined the XFJ Project at Yukon Base, tested the Type 94 Shiranui with Argus Squad, and later completed four transformable X units.
• Char gained command of the Soviet frontline, while Shirakawa Shuu, Yuzes, and their allies expanded their influence and completed their own machines.
• The group coordinated plans to field their new units and claim Faction Territory, while Zengar defended Yokohama Base alongside Miyoshi Meiya and the others.
• Ficajia took command of the Tactical Fighter forces as a huge BETA army approached, and the Soviet Army distributed SU-47s and Revenants for their first live-combat test.
• Char recognized that the BETA had changed tactics, ordered the experimental squads to withdraw, and sent Ingram and Amuro to attack the Beam Types.
• Char, Lala, Ficajia, and Guard Force pilots held the front as Char fired a beam weapon and the Undead mecha joined him in cutting through the BETA.

The Burning Legion helped unite Earth’s forces, destroyed BETA nests, and returned to Prometheus to merge with the Overlord Legion and develop new technology. The Legion then returned to MUV World, where Xiao Ran began a covert campaign to rebuild its influence and prepare to eliminate every extraterrestrial nest in the Solar System.

• Char and the other pilots fought back the BETA while Zengar sent the young pilots from Yokohama Base into combat.
• Zengar led Miyoshi Meiya and the rookies through a live exercise that destroyed more than eight thousand BETA, and Shirakawa Shuu used a Reaction Missile to wipe out an infested city.
• At Yukon Base, the Soviet Union, the Far East, and the United Nations Army announced their merger into the Earth Federation Government, while the Legion prepared to attack BETA nests.
• The Legion destroyed ten nests, learned that Earth’s Primordial Nest contained valuable G Elements, and completed its mission before returning to Prometheus with Shirakawa Shuu holding the Ultimate Mission Card.
• Xiao Ran merged the Overlord Legion with the Burning Legion, organized teams and training, and oversaw research that produced Super AI, new mecha, and a powerful battleship.
• The Technicians completed the Berserk Beast Squads and Mazinger Kaiser, and Xiao Ran converted Shirakawa Shuu’s MUV Mission Card into a Legion Mission to eliminate every extraterrestrial nest in the Solar System within three years.
• The Legion arrived at Yukon Base one year after its previous visit and discovered that the Federation had fractured, leaving it in control of Yukon Base and a few other locations.
• Xiao Ran sent teams to regain influence in the Federation, Soviet Union, and Far East, investigate the Moon and Mars, and establish mecha production while Yuzes gathered loyalists and collected dead BETA for G Element research.

Xiao Ran and the Burning Legion helped Ingram unify Earth, then led the fight against successive BETA waves. After Yuzes and Jeffrey destroyed Mars to eliminate its Level 9 Nest, Earth’s forces faced a massive invasion and continued battling to defend the planet.

• Cruze’s campaign helped Ingram win the election, and Ingram announced Earth Unified while the Burning Legion began consolidating power across the Federation and the United States.
• Xiao Ran brought Miyoshi Meiya and allied forces to the White Palace, then led a campaign that destroyed Earth’s nests and sent the Burning Legion into space to meet the incoming BETA.
• The Burning Legion and its allies used warship cannons, mecha attacks, and drones to destroy most of the first BETA wave before Xiao Ran sent Jeffrey’s team to attack the Level 9 Nest on Mars.
• Yuzes and Jeffrey chose to deploy the Dimension Devourer after learning the Mars Nest covered the planet, and the device consumed the nest, Mars, and its remaining fragment.
• Xiao Ran organized Earth’s defenses into eight sectors as the next BETA wave approached, and at least five hundred million BETA descended on the planet.
• Naza, Xiao Ran, the A-Class Pilots, the Burning Legion, and Earth’s forces fought the swarm while drones and warships cleared a corridor, then the pilots split up to continue the battle.
