Xiao Ran’s forces drove the BETA from the Solar System, then returned to Prometheus and entered the Gundam W World to suppress a rebellion and reshape its government. After the year-long mission, the Legion departed for cosmic expansion with Noin joining its ranks.

• Xiao Ran used Quantum Assimilation and the Dawn Tactical Armor to destroy vast BETA swarms, then led the Burning Legion’s counteroffensive across the Solar System while Ingram rallied humanity.
• After more than a year of fighting, humanity reclaimed major planets and destroyed the BETA nests, and Xiao Ran returned the Legion to Prometheus with the mission complete.
• Xiao Ran converted the MUV World into Faction Territory, organized migration to the 0079 World, and made the MUV World a Legion training and research base.
• The Burning Legion entered the Gundam W World during Endless Waltz, where Zechs and El-Elf uncovered a hidden stockpile of mobile suits and a rebellion against Lilina’s disarmament policy.
• Rebel Forces seized the New Federation’s support structures and declared the New Government Army, while Trieze emerged as its leader and the Burning Legion backed the weakened New Federation.
• Cruze and Zechs negotiated with Trieze, and Xiao Ran agreed to support him as leader of a reformed government while El-Elf’s forces infiltrated and weakened rival factions.
• Trieze took control of the New Government, ended the war, and returned the Rebel Forces to the New Federation as an opposition party, while Cruze announced a new government.
• As the Legion prepared to leave the W World, Luo’s team studied its new technologies, Zechs organized protection for the Kingdom of Sangu, and Noin joined the Burning Legion.

Xiao Ran strengthened his Coordinator Bloodline, developed the Seed of Spirit, and learned that Shanamia was pregnant before beginning his solo advancement mission in Super Robot Wars J. After arriving in that world, he killed Touya Yun in an apparent accident, joined forces with the girls piloting Besi Lu, and began investigating the conflict surrounding Frie.

• Xiao Ran sent Luo’s small team to the G Gundam World, where Master Asia refused to join them and gave Luo his horse follower, Rising Wind.
• Xiao Ran developed Rising Wind’s new mecha with Luo, then strengthened his Coordinator Bloodline into a Super Coordinator and gained the Seed of Spirit.
• Xiao Ran raised his Psychokinesis, studied his new abilities with Durandal and the others, and warned them against creating dangerous beings from his genes.
• Luo and the researchers examined Nifaline and began rebuilding Arcadia while Xiao Ran trained his psychic powers, and Durandal’s work advanced Coordinator technology.
• Shanamia became pregnant with Xiao Ran’s daughter, and Xiao Ran stayed with her before leaving for his solo advancement mission despite his allies’ concerns.
• Prometheus sent Xiao Ran to Super Robot Wars J, where he crushed Touya Yun beneath Berserk Flying Eagle and pretended that the death was an accident.
• Xiao Ran piloted Besi Lu with Tinia, destroyed the Mechanical Beasts, and accepted Doctor Yumi’s invitation to the Photon Research Institute.
• Xiao Ran claimed to be the Great President and a Frie prince, learned that Aiseldah Shiun had rescued the girls, and identified Glandon Goz as the likely schemer behind the events.

Xiao Ran reached Orb and PLANT, warned their leaders about the coming nuclear war, and used knowledge from another world to forge an alliance against the Earth Force. As the war began, he stayed out of the fighting while protecting PLANT and preparing for the nuclear threat.

• Xiao Ran left the institute with Tinia and the other girls, reached Orb aboard Giant Whale, and gave Lord Asaha information about Orb’s future and the coming Bloody Valentine.
• Xiao Ran helped Orb send N-Jammers to PLANT and warned its leaders that the Earth Force intended to attack Junius 7 with nuclear weapons.
• Xiao Ran revealed his other-world origins and Cruze’s secret, then convinced Siegel, Patrick, and Lacus that he wanted to prevent the tragedies he had witnessed.
• Xiao Ran offered PLANT advanced technology and proposed a joint force with Orb, training pilots and building toward a unified government after the Earth Force fell.
• Patrick accepted Xiao Ran’s conditions, chose personnel for his special unit, and sent Cruze to the front as the Earth Force and ZAFT prepared for battle.
• The Earth Force and ZAFT began fighting, while Xiao Ran kept the Flying Eagle in reserve and Giant Whale guarded the satellite.
• Xiao Ran refused to end the battle himself, and Lacus told him that ZAFT had found the Earth Force’s nuclear strike team as PLANT officials considered retaliating with nuclear weapons.

Xiao Ran organized an independent force aboard the Apocalypse to prepare for threats beyond the war with the Alliance. The crew rescued children from the Rodnia Research Institute and brought them to Orb for care.

• Xiao Ran secretly destroyed the Earth Force nuclear fleet and urged PLANT to prepare N-Jammers and civilian relief rather than blame ordinary Naturals.
• Xiao Ran trained a group of ZAFT and Orb cadets, revealed their mission to fight alien threats, and formed them into an independent unit.
• Xiao Ran demonstrated Darkness Sky’s power, then worked with Siegel, Patrick, and Asaha to develop forces and resources for the coming conflict.
• Xiao Ran and Lacus departed PLANT aboard the completed Apocalypse, accompanied by four escort ships and a mixed PLANT and Orb crew.
• Xiao Ran led a mission to the Rodnia Research Institute, where his force attacked the facility and rescued the imprisoned children, including Stella.
• Xiao Ran rejected taking the children to a ZAFT base and ordered the ships to travel beneath the sea to Orb, where the records showed many children needed long-term psychological care.
• At Orb’s secret port, Xiao Ran used the Falcon’s Solar Furnace and his Innovator power to bathe the port in green particles and comfort the children.
