• Renard killed Azrael, seized Quincy Isha and Nai Pa, and later brought them to Xiao Ran, while the independent fleet encountered the Eight Trigrams Faction and recovered a mysterious disc.
• Xiao Ran woke from his coma, learned from Master Asia that his domain had depleted his soul, and began recovering while Lacus briefed him on the new threats.
• Xiao Ran brought Renard and Amalgam into his forces, investigated Zel Duma and Himuro Miku, and learned that Akitsu Masato was missing and the machine’s dimensional system was dangerous.

His discovery of Permanent Departure led him to learn that his original world was a hidden pocket universe cut off from the main universe by a strengthened barrier.

• Xiao Ran accepted the Speakership of the New World Government, then destroyed Hell Island and eliminated Doctor Hell, the Mechanical Beast Legion, Hades, and the Dark General.
• Xiao Ran confronted the Glatters Army on Mars and forced it to withdraw, then negotiated its surrender and increased compensation for Earth.

Xiao Ran chose to remain a Participant and strengthened himself and the Burning Legion before returning to his original world, where five hundred days had passed. As he investigated attacks and clones linked to Kihara Masaki, he began rebuilding the Apocalypse Unit and sought to bring Earth under his control.

• Xiao Ran rejected Prometheus’s offer to leave, accepted compensation instead, and chose to keep his identity as Participant Unit 678.
• Xiao Ran used his rewards and the Legion’s evaluations to advance his skills and bloodlines, fusing with a Solar Furnace core and gaining Quantum Pioneer abilities.
• Xiao Ran trained to control his new powers while the Legion developed technologies and prepared a fleet for its Ultimate Mission.
• Xiao Ran brought the Burning Legion into Mecha Wars J, returned to his original world, and learned that five hundred days had passed and the Apocalypse had been destroyed.
