Xu Xin built Shadow Hall around the Ice and Fire Yin Yang Well, gaining powerful allies and provoking Yu Xiao Gang while Ninja Soldiers stole clan secrets. After returning to the well, Xu Xin explored the Ghost Shadow Kingdom and set his sights on improving his Spiritual Power.

• Xu Xin awakened the Tara Mask, was expelled from Ghost Shadow Village, and discovered he had level-ten Soul Power before deciding to seek his own path.
• Xu Xin and A Yin hunted a dark ape in Sunset Forest, and Xu Xin gained his first Soul Ring and summoned Ninja Soldiers with his first soul skill.
• Xu Xin and A Yin found the Ice and Fire Yin Yang Well, cultivated its Immortal Herbs, and later recruited Dugu Bo and Liu Erlong into Shadow Hall.
• A Yin gained a sixty-thousand-year Soul Ring, and Xu Xin met Bibi Dong and traveled with her and Liu Erlong to Coconut Grove City.
• Xu Xin and Liu Erlong exposed Yu Xiao Gang’s intentions toward Bibi Dong, and Xu Xin ordered Ninja Soldiers to injure him and steal valuable materials from three clans.
• Yu Xiao Gang tried to attack Xu Xin at the Soul Fighting Arena, but Liu Erlong stopped him and the crowd mocked him as he fled.

Xu Xin developed Shadow Hall, sold its pills, and pursued plans involving A Yin, Liu Erlong, Bibi Dong, and Tang Hao. He secured the Three-Eyed Golden Lion’s freedom from the Star Dou Great Forest and left with a dark- and mental-attribute Soul Ring in hand.

• Xu Xin reached level 30, absorbed a One-eyed Ghost Bat Soul Ring and External Soul Bone, and recruited Liu Erlong as Shadow Hall’s Third Elder.
• Xu Xin and A Yin visited Ye Shengxin, learned from his medical books, and later sold cultivation-speed pills at auction, where Tang Hao and Tang Xiao paid four million Golden Soul Coins for them.
• Dugu Bo reached Title Douluo, and Xu Xin launched Shadow Hall with a pill sale attended by the major factions, and Yu Yuanzhen bought a Mysterious Water Pill for Yu Xiao Gang, who rejected it.
• Xu Xin revealed himself as Shadow Hall’s master to Bibi Dong and arranged a pill-for-materials deal with Spirit Hall, while Dugu Bo defeated Chrysanthemum Douluo.
• Xu Xin entered the City of Slaughter, found a crippled man who had wielded a hammer, and brought him to the Ghost Shadow Kingdom for a dark baptism before naming him A Jing.
• Xu Xin joined Liu Erlong and Bibi Dong in the City of Slaughter, gave Liu Erlong a mask, and advised them to seek the Ten-headed Fiery Sun Snake’s core and a Domain.
• Xu Xin’s soldiers captured a Three-Eyed Golden Lion, and he took her with A Yin to the Lake of Life, where the Silver Dragon King approved her departure and assigned Bi Ji to protect her.
• Di Tian gave Xu Xin a suitable Soul Beast for a roughly fifteen-thousand-year mental- and darkness-attribute Soul Ring, and Xu Xin reunited with Ah Rou and Xiao Wu.

Xu Xin expanded Shadow Hall, confronted Yu Yuanzhen, and navigated Qian Xunji’s plans to take control of the Hall. In the Star Dou Great Forest, Tang Yuehua joined Xu Xin’s group while Yu Xiao Gang’s refusal to accept help strained his bond with Xue Ya and Flender.

• Xu Xin recruited the Ye Family and several academy leaders into Shadow Hall, then made Bi Ji its principal after she accepted his terms and received a Samo Mask.
• Yu Yuanzhen confronted Xu Xin over Yu Xiao Gang’s spoiled pills, but backed down when Xu Xin summoned Titled Douluo-level soldiers and demanded half the clan’s assets.
• Qian Xunji planned to draw Shadow Hall into a marriage alliance through Bibi Dong, while Xu Xin suspected his intentions and made him a surveillance target.
• Xu Xin traveled with Liu Erlong and Bibi Dong, encountered Tang Yuehua in the Star Dou Great Forest, and learned she had gone looking for Tang Hao after a breakup.
• Xu Xin explained Tang Yuehua’s feelings for Tang Hao and discussed Bibi Dong’s Twin Martial Souls, then arranged for Shadow Hall to gather Whale Rubber.
• Tang Yuehua decided she no longer wanted to seek her brothers and chose to stay with Xu Xin’s group, while Yu Xiao Gang remained with Xue Ya and Flender.
• When Tang Hao confronted Yu Xiao Gang, he struck Xue Ya, and Yu Xiao Gang later rejected her comfort and Flender’s defense, refusing to accept their help.

Xu Xin strengthened Shadow Hall, gained control over the Ghost Shadow Kingdom’s trials, and prepared to remove the Clear Sky Sect from the Upper Three Sects. He defeated Tang Hao at the Spirit City gathering and secured Shadow Hall’s place among the three sects, while Tang Yuehua left to try to prevent further conflict with her family.

• Xu Xin captured the Dark Demon Evil God Tiger, traded Xue Ye a Mysterious Water Pill for the Vast Sea Cosmic Shroud, and then cultivated to level fifty before killing the tiger and absorbing its Soul Ring.
• Xu Xin brought Ah Yin, Liu Erlong, Bi Ji, and Dugu Bo into the Ghost Shadow Kingdom, where they discovered the generals’ trial statues and Xu Xin learned he had to defeat nine generals to fully control the realm.
• Xu Xin accepted Qian Xunji’s proposal to reshuffle the Upper Three Sects, visited the Blue Silver Forest with Ah Yin, and arranged for the Blue Silver King to summon a Ninja Soldier if danger arose.
• Xu Xin sent Ninja Soldiers to spy on major forces and copy secret manuals, then prepared to use the Clear Sky Sect’s Explode Ring technique in his fight against Tang Hao.
• At the Spirit City contest, Xu Xin overwhelmed Tang Hao with Tara Form and Explode Ring, broke his back, and forced him to call Xu Xin Dad to spare Tang Zhan.
• Xu Xin had Claw Shadow Soldiers maim Tang Zhan and kill Clear Sky Sect members who accompanied him, then let the injured Tang Hao and the rest of the sect leave with a Spirit Bone left behind.
• Chen Xin defeated Yu Yuanzhen, and Qian Xunji named Shadow Hall, the Seven Treasure Glazed Tile Sect, and the Blue Lightning Tyrant Dragon Clan as the Upper Three Sects, excluding the Clear Sky Sect.
• Tang Yuehua confronted Xu Xin about her father and brother’s injuries, thanked him for sparing their lives, and left Shadow Academy to return to Clear Sky Sect and urge her family to avoid conflict.
