When darkness assailed Onizuka, his body trembled, dispersing it.
While they had been advancing through the underground passage earlier, Yu Ming had already told Onizuka about the high-level creature. He had assumed it was merely some inferior being defeated and sealed away by the Ghost King. Yet while they were still quite some distance from the center of the seal, the scattered darkness had already made Onizuka feel danger and oppression.
"Creatures of darkness are independent and unusual entities even in the Higher Planes. It was ultimately defeated and sealed here by Azathoth and the Ghost King working together. Its strength hasn't disappointed you, has it, Onizuka?"
When Yu Ming stepped forward and placed an arm over Onizuka's shoulder, Onizuka immediately shook it off. He was extremely repulsed by physical contact with others.
"Interesting. What are your intentions? Control this thing, or kill it here?" Onizuka asked as he stood in the darkness-corroded passage.
"As I said before, this thing was defeated by Azathoth and the Ghost King together. Azathoth should possess the ability to undo its seal and exert a little control over it. However, before Azathoth is finally defeated, he will not casually make use of this thing. So we need to eliminate it beforehand. As for whether we kill or control it, that will depend on the circumstances."
There were many suspicious points in Yu Ming's answer, and Onizuka was particularly skilled at seizing upon such flaws to question others.
"Why doesn't Azathoth move this thing beneath the city he has established now and seal it there?"
"Void Death City has not been fully completed yet, has it? Once it is finished, Azathoth will certainly transfer this fellow over there—and he will do so extremely cautiously," Yu Ming answered.
"Also, you said this thing was defeated and
