Chang Wei conquered the seas, fought the Olympian gods, and joined the Ring Guard while secretly building an Orc kingdom. He helped Rohan resist Saruman’s army and ended the volume fighting at Helm’s Deep as the fortress’s defenses began to fail.

Arc 21The Sea King's Conquest

Chang Wei built an undead pirate fleet, seized Elizabeth and the Black Pearl, and forced Norrington’s Royal Navy into his service. With Xiao Feng’s Mao Kun Map in hand, Chang Wei set out for Norse treasures and encountered Jörmungandr’s deadly serpents.

  • Chang Wei returned to the Resident Evil world, met Aerith and Matt, and warned them that the virus and Queen of Flames’s machines would eventually struggle for control of the New World.
  • Chang Wei visited Queen of Flames, then traveled to the Caribbean, where he made an undead crew and attacked Royal Port for Elizabeth and its treasure.
  • Chang Wei defeated Black Mamba, took Barbossa and the cursed pirates into his service, renamed Jörmungandr the Sea King's Ship, and gathered the Treasure Island hoard.

Arc 22War Against the Olympians

Chang Wei defeated Odin and battled his way through Tartarus before transforming his fleet and searching for Poseidon’s Trident. He reached Atlantis and began fighting Zeus and Poseidon, leaving both gods under attack.

  • Chang Wei bound the spirits haunting the wrecks, defeated Odin, and looted the mysterious sea before capturing Jack Sparrow and confronting the Spanish Armada.
  • Chang Wei defeated the Spanish fleet, sailed to Tartarus, and fought Hades and Cronus, learning that angels had taken the other Titans and prisoners.
  • Davy Jones attacked the Black Pearl to claim Jack, but Chang Wei killed Jones and the Kraken, then transformed his fleet into immortal sea creatures.

Arc 23The Ring Guard’s Journey

Chang Wei joined the Ring Guard Team and secretly built an Orc kingdom while traveling with the Fellowship toward Mordor. In Lothlórien, Galadriel became captivated by Chang Wei after removing his mask, and Aragorn and Legolas saw the evidence.

  • Chang Wei killed Zeus, reforged the Aegis Shield, and swallowed the universe before arriving in Middle-earth as a bounty hunter.
  • Chang Wei joined Aragorn in protecting Frodo and the other Hobbits, drove off the Ringwraiths, and helped bring them safely to Rivendell.
  • At the council in Rivendell, Chang Wei joined the Ring Guard Team, then secretly created Hulk Orcs and began building a kingdom in the Misty Mountains.
  • Chang Wei rescued his Orcs from Saruman’s forces, defeated their enemies, and expanded his forces with Mountain Ogres, Wargs, Triceratops, and transformed Goblins.
  • In Moria, Chang Wei fought the Balrog alongside Gandalf, saved Gandalf from falling into the abyss, and later subdued the Balrog so his Orcs could claim the mines and their Mithril.
  • The Fellowship reached Lothlórien, where Galadriel welcomed Chang Wei and later removed his mask despite his refusal, becoming captivated by his appearance.

Arc 24The Battle for Helm’s Deep

Chang Wei led Rohan’s cavalry in a campaign of ambushes that delayed and weakened Saruman’s army before returning to help defend Helm’s Deep. As the fortress came under assault, Aragorn and Théoden fought the Uruk-hai while Chang Wei remained determined to end the battle before Gandalf arrived.

  • Galadriel refused to commit Lothlórien to the war, but some Elves declared they would fight for Chang Wei and remain in Middle-earth.
  • The Fellowship left Lothlórien by boat, evaded Uruk-hai pursuers, and agreed to go to Rohan after Gandalf explained its dire condition.
  • Gandalf freed Théoden from Saruman’s influence, and Théoden began restoring Rohan before learning that more than ten thousand Uruk-hai were approaching.
  • Chang Wei took 150 lightly equipped Rohan cavalrymen to harass the Uruk-hai, using mounted archery and ambushes to destroy supplies and raiding forces.
  • Chang Wei recruited more riders and continued the raids, killing thousands of Uruk-hai and delaying their advance for nearly ten days before returning to Helm’s Deep.
  • The Uruk-hai and Dunlendings besieged Helm’s Deep, where Chang Wei and the defenders used archers, poisoned fire arrows, Fire Oil, and incendiary bottles to repel their assaults.
  • Aragorn found Saruman’s bombs by the drain and hurled them into the Uruk-hai, killing nearly a thousand, while Chang Wei arranged for fresh defenders to take the front line.
