Chang Wei evolved the Blacklight Virus, defeated Alex Mercer, and survived a nuclear blast that empowered his transformation. He spread the virus across the world beneath Great Black Heaven, but his search for The Jester Jason remained fruitless.

• Chang Wei absorbed Elizabeth Greene, evolved his Blacklight Virus, and created powerful Hunters that attacked Black Watch forces.
• Chang Wei confronted Alex Mercer, trapped him in Black Coffin, and absorbed him after Alex's attempts to fight back failed.
• Chang Wei learned the location of The Jester from General Randall, then endured the nuclear blast that destroyed much of Manhattan and evolved by absorbing radiation.
• Chang Wei consumed radioactive material, developed Blacklight Nuclear Fission, and released the virus into the stratosphere to infect the world.
• Chang Wei spread Great Black Heaven across the Americas and Europe while searching for The Jester Jason, but found only an outdated Nest.
• Humanity launched more than a hundred nuclear bombs at Great Black Heaven, but Chang Wei absorbed their energy and regenerated the black curtain faster.
• Chang Wei sent infected creatures to scour land and oceans for The Jester Jason, but after a month he still had not found him.

Chang Wei destroyed the Alien and Predator forces on Earth, then left for a Resident Evil world and began evolving his powers through the T-Virus. The arc ended with Payton restored after turning into a monster and Aerith learning to call Chang Wei Priest Dante.

• Chang Wei fought The Jester Jason with traps, a Railgun, and a Nuclear Fusion blast, then devastated the world with disguised Hydrogen Bombs and departed after the Blacklight Virus took over.
• Chang Wei arrived in Alien vs. Predator 2: Requiem, adapted to Xenomorph acid, and sent Black Armor Hunters to hunt the Aliens while he confronted Predator Lone Wolf.
• Chang Wei consumed Lone Wolf, learned the location of the Sacred Hunting Grounds, and created a Blacklight Predator Hunter as the Predator Elder set out for Earth.
• Chang Wei released Blacklight microorganisms against humans, Predators, and Aliens, devoured the Xenomorph Empress and Predator forces, and escaped when Predator reinforcements arrived.
• Chang Wei entered a Resident Evil world, met Jill and her group in a church, and watched Aerith defeat the Lickers that attacked them.
• Chang Wei infected Aerith and used the Super Virus System to evolve the Emperor Blacklight Virus alongside the Perfect T-Virus, gaining powerful telekinetic and mental abilities.
• Chang Wei awakened Aerith, Jill, and the others, then used Holy Light to repair Payton after he transformed into a T-Virus monster and introduced himself to Aerith as Priest Dante.

Chang Wei evolved the G-Type Blacklight Virus, warned Aerith to gather survivors in the Sahara, and destroyed and reshaped the Resident Evil world while preserving those in the desert. He left Aerith and Jill behind and entered a new world, where his encounter with Selias Victoria drew the attention of Alucard and Millennium.

• Chang Wei survived a nuclear strike, killed Supervisor Shiweite with concentrated radiation, then vanished as Aerith and the others formed the Anti-Umbrella Alliance.
• Chang Wei pursued nuclear fusion in the Sahara, evolved the G virus into the G-Type Blacklight Virus, and learned that Aerith had merged with the T-Virus.
• Chang Wei warned Aerith and Jill that a great fire would destroy the world and gave them one month to lead uninfected people and animals to the Sahara.
• Aerith led survivors to the Sahara as Chang Wei unleashed a Heat Ray and a Solar Heatwave, destroying nearly all surface life while shielding the desert.
• Chang Wei reshaped the world into the Pangu Supercontinent, then left without saying goodbye as Aerith and Jill wondered why he had gone.
• Chang Wei arrived in a new world, rescued Selias Victoria from ghouls, and vanished with her before Alucard could stop him.
• Chang Wei shattered Schrödinger and expelled him from his thoughts, after which Schrödinger returned to Millennium and told the Major that Chang Wei was in Great Britain.

Chang Wei transformed Selias into a Blacklight predator, drew Millennium and Hellsing into a war, and devoured London during the battle. After absorbing Anderson and Alucard, his virus evolved into Divine Light Virus, and he left Selias and the Werewolf Captain behind as he considered his next destination.

• Chang Wei turned the Werewolf Captain into his loyal hunting hound, transformed Selias into a Blacklight prototype, and trained her to fight Millennium’s vampires.
• Selias killed and absorbed Luke Valentine, then hunted Tohobah-al-Hambra in South America as Chang Wei watched Millennium’s plans unfold.
• Chang Wei intercepted Rip van Winkle aboard the USS Enterprise and absorbed her, while Alucard sailed the ship toward Britain.
• Millennium invaded London, and Chang Wei let Selias face Lieutenant Thorin before unleashing the Dead Sea and devouring the city and its inhabitants.
• Chang Wei fought Alucard and Father Anderson, who used Helena’s Hellsing to become God’s Monster and spread Suffering Thorns across the battlefield.
• Chang Wei overwhelmed Anderson, took his heart, and triggered the Blacklight Virus’s evolution, while Anderson vanished and Yumie Takagi attacked Chang Wei.
• Chang Wei’s virus evolved into Divine Light Virus, he abandoned his attempt to absorb Schrödinger, and he devoured Alucard to gain the Dead River.
• Chang Wei killed Integra, and Selias and the Werewolf Captain arrived as he considered where to go next.
