Tang San possesses knowledge of the Tang Sect’s hidden weapons and Secret Teachings, later revealed to have lived two lives and originated the Tang Sect’s hidden weapons. He resents the Tang Sect for disowning him despite his talent. 75 213

During the Great Soul Arena tournament, he wins all twelve first-round matches but becomes a target of manipulated matches and increasingly dangerous opponents. His willingness to use lethal force and hidden weapons draws concern from Xiao Wu, Dai Mubai, Oscar, and Yu Xiaogang. 50 51

His conflict with Huo Yuhao escalates after their arena battle, where Huo overwhelms Tang San’s Blue Silver Grass, Purple Demon Eyes, and Dragon Beard Needles. Tang San is severely injured and captured before the arena’s Order Maintainers intervene. 53
