On the screen, Lilith sat upright in a high-backed chair, dressed in a midnight-blue satin gown. Holding a white porcelain teacup, she took a small sip.
Her eyes glanced this way. When she saw Wu Heng, the corner of her lips lifted in a barely noticeable curve.
"Looking for me?" Wu Heng asked, holding up his phone.
Lilith set down her teacup with a soft clink. "Something came up at headquarters. I wanted to tell you about it."
"Wait a moment!" Wu Heng quickly returned to the living room, sat on the sofa, and propped his phone against the coffee table.
Xiaoxiao controlled the puppet and stood on tiptoe, resting her chin on the back of the sofa as she squeezed into the frame as well.
"Is there any important news from headquarters?" Wu Heng asked.
Lilith said, "Treasure Island's newspapers have reached headquarters. Everyone knows Viola has become a hero now, and the leaders even held a meeting over it."
"What did the leaders say?" Wu Heng was curious about their attitude as well.
"The Religious Leader proposed issuing new rules restricting Treasure Island from cultivating heroes."
