The Dwarf Leader said gruffly, "Fight if you want. As long as you don't harm innocents, who wants to deal with your bullshit?"
The religious representative's expression shifted slightly, but he quickly regained his solemnity. "Even so, we still hope the Association can restrain Wu Heng and prevent him from taking... more extreme actions."
Hadara'i nodded faintly. "We will contact Wu Heng."
"Thank you, leaders!" The religious representative bowed deeply, then turned and left.
After the religious representative departed, the vampire representative also spoke. "According to intelligence from the Whisperers, Leader Wu Heng was merely acting in passive retaliation in this incident."
Hadara'i said, "Compile it into a report and submit it."
"Yes! Then I'll return and prepare the report." The vampire representative bowed as well before leaving the meeting room.
After the two left, the meeting room fell into a brief silence.
After a moment, the leader of the Grand Text Society slowly spoke. "If we allow them to keep fighting, won't the situation spiral out of control?"
The Dwarf Leader snorted coldly. "Intervene? How? They make such pretty promises, then fight harder than anyone behind our backs!"
Hadara'i lightly tapped the table with his fingertips and made the final decision. "There is no need to discuss this further. The Association will not intervene in matters between them."
After a slight pause, he continued, "Both sides must abide by the bottom lines. They must not implicate innocents or cause major losses! Beyond that, let them settle it with their own strength!"
