The two of them had just been talking about a global virus and gods when the wraith on the board suddenly said that, making it seem as if it had been speaking directly to them.

"Can it... hear us talking?" Lilith's voice carried a trace of disbelief.

When this artifact had been in the dwarf hero's hands, it had never displayed anything unusual. Yet after coming to Wu Heng, it always seemed to show something different.

Lilith analyzed, "It probably needs something!"

Shanala looked troubled. "But what could an artifact need? Our resources here aren't as abundant as they were on Treasure Island... Even if we wanted to offer it something, there's nowhere to buy it."
