Wu Heng and Bartholomew ran forward at full speed, trying to catch the fleeing targets.
The residential area was a maze of crisscrossing roads, making it difficult to get around.
As they chased into an alley, they heard violent pounding from within.
Wu Heng entered the alley and saw a massive brown bear gripping the Wanted Criminal, who glowed like a light source, and slamming him heavily into the ground.

The Wanted Criminal slid down the wall and did not get back up.

The brown bear let out a breath, then transformed back into Yuri the next second. Sweat covered her forehead, plastering her slightly curly bangs against it.
"Done!" Yuri gave a thumbs-up.
"Impressive. Just what I'd expect from my teammate." Wu Heng raised a thumb as well.
"Of course!"
Wu Heng glanced toward the Wanted Criminal's body, and Bartholomew stepped forward to stab it once more.
No experience appeared. Yuri had probably killed him outright.
"How should we deal with the body?" Yuri continued.
"We should bring it back to the Adventurer's Guild. They'll verify his identity and give us the bounty."
"What are you planning to spend the bounty on once we get it?"
"Uh, I haven't decided. What about you?"
"First, I'll eat at every tavern in the city. Then I'll go to the Black Market and buy things I like." Yuri crossed her arms as she explained how she would spend her bounty.
Wu Heng looked at her, then at the corpse. "He's just an ordinary Wanted Criminal. The bounty won't be that high."
"Oh, then I'll just eat at all the taverns first."
