The two had not seen each other for half a month.

Though they had kept in touch over the radio, both were filled with longing for one another.

The butler left, and the two embraced.

Shanala was lifted up and placed by the bed, her hands instinctively gripping the edge.

"Mmm~!" she moaned softly.

Her silver teeth bit down on her red lips as she hummed rhythmically. "Slower, someone might hear."

"Everyone's asleep. What's there to be afraid of?"

"Be careful." Shanala's entire body flushed red.

"Bear with it."

"Slower," Shanala said softly.

Shanala punched him lightly with the back of her hand, picked up a handkerchief from beside the bed, and gently bit down on it.

Soft whimpers escaped her in rhythm.

The night grew deeper.

The two sat naked across from each other at the bedside.

Wu Heng rose, and Shanala cried out. Her legs wrapped around his waist like a spider's, while her arms clung tightly around his neck.

"What are you doing again?!"

"Getting some water." Carrying her in his arms, Wu Heng walked to the table in the room, sat down again, and picked up the water cup for a drink.

"I'm thirsty too," Shanala said coyly.

Wu Heng took a sip, pinched her chin, and fed it into her mouth.

They continued their unfinished pleasure.

After a long while, Shanala let out a heavy breath, and Wu Heng carried her back to the bed.

They embraced beneath the thin quilt.

"Didn't Philippa keep you company? Why are you working so hard?" Shanala pressed herself against his chest and spoke softly.

Wu Heng played with the Wood Elf's voluptuous body. "I missed you."

"You really know how to say things people like hearing."

"Was it your idea for Brittany to station troops on Treasure Island?"
