The thieves were no longer sleepy.
They sat on their beds, anxious and restless.
"Looks like he won't be getting any sleep tonight," Granda said.
Judging from the thief's state on the screen, he probably would not sleep at all tonight.
"Hmph! Scared now, aren't you? Serves him right for lying to us," Xiaoxiao said indignantly from the side.
Beni smiled as well. "He won't live much longer anyway. Why get mad at him?"
"True!" Xiaoxiao nodded.
Wu Heng said, "This is good too. He's been so cooperative that I'd almost feel bad killing him."
Granda said irritably, "He's an assassin. What's there to feel bad about?"
"It's my first time experimenting on living people. There's still some pressure," Wu Heng said helplessly.
Xiaoxiao leaned against his shoulder. "Uncle, they're bad people. It's okay."

He looked away from the monitor and considered how he could obtain more information about the city.
It did not necessarily have to be the Second Prince's location. Other level 18 professionals, or whether there were any Mystic Association members in the city, could all be targets for his intelligence gathering.
He was now the leader of the Crimson Wind Gang, and tomorrow he would be sending money to the guard commander.
Could he use that to obtain some useful intelligence?
