Background / History

Granda spent a long period alone in an abandoned mansion after becoming a Wraith. When Wu Heng encountered her, she agreed to become his Spirit Servant in exchange for his promise to help her take revenge on her husband, Magnoro. Wu Heng accepted the contract, gaining authority as her master while nourishing her with Mental Power. 159

Her past remained the central obstacle to her growth. Magnoro had murdered her by setting a fire, then claimed that she had been driven mad by an evil spirit and accidentally burned herself to death. His motive was to remove her as an obstacle to joining the Mystic Association. 628

Granda eventually located Magnoro on Treasure Island and tried to possess him, but his protective pendant and divine radiance repelled her unstable Soul Form. 625 Wu Heng later killed Magnoro after he attempted to destroy her. Through Magnoro’s soul and memories, Granda learned the truth of his betrayal and personally ended him. 626 628

After accepting the truth and finding peace of mind, Granda’s Unfinished Business restriction disappeared. 629

Appearance

Granda usually appears as a woman in Soul Form. After reaching Level 18, her form is described as that of a Western housewife with translucent hands; at Level 20, she becomes visibly more solid and less ethereal. 544 673
