"Back in the Earth Era, we already knew that constructing matter itself from geometry was, in a certain sense, a problem String Theory had to solve. And now, we have solved the 'certain sense' that scientists of the Earth Era once spoke of."

Dao Heiqi, who had once spoken eloquently with his colleagues at the Physics Research Institute, had entered the virtual world more than a century later. He was now speaking from the podium, while below him sat the scientists participating in the exchange conference.

Most were scientists from Human Civilization and the Daya Civilization, mixed with a small number from member civilizations of the Star Alliance and the Perseus Trade Federation, such as the Nair Civilization, Gurji Civilization, and Celestial Dog Civilization.

Because they were in a virtual world, they could meet face-to-face like this. This was one of only two ways different races could meet in person; the other was Holographic Projection Technology.

Every race attended in its own form, with no options for altering appearances. As a result, the hall was filled with sentient life in all manner of shapes.

It was worth mentioning that not all aliens had two hands and two feet. Some moved by dragging their bodies along the ground, like the Daya Civilization. They were a species of mollusk, looking soft and squishy.

Yet within the hall, no discrimination was visible because of their different forms. Perhaps it existed, but no sentient life dared show it.

Such conferences were generally broadcast live simultaneously across the member civilizations, and the people of those civilizations took great pride in them. Whenever they saw scientists of their own race among the attendees, it sparked widespread discussion. Some talked about those scientists' achievements, while others spoke of how generously they were treated, respected by Human Civilization
