Human Civilization's residential spaceships had originally been Star-Class, and their defensive shields had been configured to Star-Class Warship standards. Thus, they had no fear of the Planet-Class Warships that Adeli had let slip through.
A few residential spaceships had their shields blown apart for a time by the enemy's fierce firepower, but they held on until Adeli returned to provide support.
On the Black Hole Battlefield, Humanity and the Daya Civilization had indeed suffered losses overall, but most of them were engineering ships, Factory Spaceships, Biosphere Spaceships, and the like. None had been destroyed; they had merely been struck repeatedly by dense barrages from numerous Planet-Class Warships.
There had also been personnel losses. After all, those ships had crews aboard. Around several tens of thousands had died, which was the lowest figure compared to the other Star Alliance Member Civilizations. Humanity had been very well protected.
Within the Star Alliance, the Crimson Flame Civilization had suffered the most deaths in this war. So far, at least over a billion of its people had died, all of them perishing alongside the warships they piloted when those ships exploded. The Nair People, Dog-Headed People, and Kuntai People had also suffered heavy casualties, because many of their individual lifeforms served as soldiers aboard ordinary Star-Class Warships as well. Now, Humanity's ordinary Star-Class Warships had been completely wiped out, and casualties had certainly reached the hundreds of millions.
In interstellar warfare, lives were practically just numbers.
The Star Sea Grand Alliance and the Daya Civilization had suffered even greater losses, especially the thirteen civilizations of the Star Sea Grand Alliance. Although some of their warships were unmanned, most were crewed, because at the Level 5 Civilization stage, unmanned warships were no longer as combat-capable as crewed ones.
For that very reason, Level 5 Civilizations
