Only trainers' Pokémon had flames as large as eggs, and far more energy surrounded those flames.

Many Pokémon had much more energy than Beedrill.

Eichi had heard Teacher Arno say that within trainer circles, Pokémon strength was roughly divided into six levels: Novice, Veteran, Elite, Gym Leader, Elite Four, and Champion.

Aptitude was also roughly divided into five levels: ordinary, good, excellent, outstanding, and champion.

Ordinary referred to the most common Pokémon.

Good was the level of most trainers' Pokémon.

The Pokémon of contestants who reached the top eight in League Tournaments all had excellent aptitude.

Outstanding aptitude began to appear among the Pokémon of Gym Trainers and Elite Four members.

Their Pokémon all possessed excellent or outstanding aptitude.

Pokémon with champion aptitude, meanwhile, were exceedingly rare. It was difficult for ordinary Pokémon to reach the champion level in aptitude.

Only Pseudo-legendaries had a high chance of producing champion aptitude, while Legendary Pokémon all possessed champion aptitude or higher.

At present, the only known Pokémon with champion aptitude was Dragonite, belonging to Lance, the Dragon-type Elite Four member from the Chengdu region.

Teacher Arno did not know about the other regions.

Eichi guessed that Ash's Pikachu also had champion aptitude.

Eichi froze for a moment, then honestly admitted it. "That's right! I did it, but I only won because I was lucky."

After hearing Eichi admit it, Teacher Arno was somewhat shocked.

He then carefully asked Eichi about the details, and Eichi answered each question.

They were: "Delibird, Dugtrio, Magneton, Golduck, Nidoqueen, and Nidoking."

Eichi stepped forward and activated Bug Force. The world before his eyes immediately changed.

He could clearly see the condition inside all six Pokémon.

The blue flames inside five of them were the size of fists, meaning they had excellent aptitude.

The energy surrounding them was all roughly similar. Some had slightly more and some slightly less, but they had all reached the Gym Leader level.

Only Delibird's Energy Level was far lower than the other Pokémon's.

It was probably only a little higher than Beedrill's, having reached the Veteran level just like Beedrill.

Then there was Nidoking. Eichi was certain that this Nidoking was definitely Teacher Arno's ace.

The blue flame inside it was the size of a baby's head, and its Energy Level was far greater than the others'.

It should be an Elite Four-level Nidoking. Eichi was somewhat shocked. "Teacher Arno is this strong!"

Teacher Arno must have a great story. Not just anyone could own Pokémon this strong. While Eichi's imagination ran wild, Teacher Arno turned around and introduced them to him. "These are my Pokémon."

"I only caught this Delibird a few days ago."

Eichi nodded and asked, "Teacher Arno, what did you bring me here for?"

Teacher Arno smiled gently. "I brought you here because I wanted to test your Beedrill's strength."
