Eichi knew Heracross was referring to Scyther. Heracross had come to test Scyther's strength.

When Heracross had entrusted Scyther to Eichi, it had told him to train Scyther well.

Once he understood Heracross's intentions, Eichi released Scyther.

The Scyther that emerged was brimming with fighting spirit, gazing excitedly at Heracross.

Eichi had already told Scyther about its origins.

Scyther was also curious about its biological parents, but in its heart, Eichi was its true parent.

As Vacuum Wave was about to strike its body, Heracross raised both hands to block Scyther's Vacuum Wave.

After being blocked by Heracross, Scyther quickly beat its wings and retreated, facing off against Heracross.

Heracross began its attack, charging straight at Scyther with Horn Attack.

Heracross's Horn Attack missed Scyther once again, hitting only an afterimage.

Heracross was still too slow. After missing once, it used Bullet Seed on Scyther again.

Just like last time, it kept firing Bullet Seed, scattering seeds all around.

Scyther was clearly not as fast as Beedrill had been last time. Even Beedrill had been hit, let alone Scyther.

Seeing this, Eichi ordered Scyther, "Scyther, use Quick Attack on Heracross, then Wing Attack."

Scyther endured the pain and activated its Technician Ability.

After landing the hit, Scyther vanished with an Agility, then flew behind Heracross again. Just as Heracross was about to turn around—

It was hit by one of Scyther's Vacuum Waves, worsening Heracross's injuries.

Scyther flew away with another Agility, then repeated the same trick with Wing Attack.

Heracross still took the blow head-on.

Watching from the side, Eichi furrowed his brows. Something was off. Heracross was not this weak.

Something felt wrong, but Eichi could not tell what exactly was wrong.

Scyther had been using Agility nonstop, and its stamina was running low. Its speed had slowed somewhat.

Just as it was preparing to give Heracross another Vacuum Wave—

This time, rather than blocking Scyther's Vacuum Wave head-on, Heracross tilted its body to the right, then raised its right hand and slashed down fiercely.

The situation changed in an instant. Scyther could only watch as Heracross's palm slashed into its body.

With a cry of pain, it fell to the ground, instantly losing its ability to battle.

After seeing Scyther lose its ability to battle, Heracross waited for a while.

Scyther climbed back to its feet and prepared to continue fighting. At that moment, Heracross nodded at Scyther and Eichi, saying, "Cross. Not bad..."

Then it turned around, beat its wings, and flew away.

It quickly disappeared from Eichi's sight.

More than a dozen Pokémon surrounded Eichi. One of the Pikachu said, "Pika, pika, Pikachu."

Eichi understood what they meant. "You were all drawn here by the smell."

"You're all hungry!"

Eichi picked up the two Pikachu. "Since everyone is hungry, let's eat together!"

Then Eichi took several packs of Pokémon food from his backpack.

He also took out several food bowls, and everyone ate together.

The Pokémon happily gathered around Eichi, rubbing against his legs.

Eichi patted Pikachu's head and said, "All right, everyone is hungry. Go eat."

Everyone began enjoying the food. While they ate, Eichi served every Pokémon a bowl of soup.

After finishing their meal, none of them left, instead gathering around Eichi.

Eichi smiled. "Since none of you want to leave, we'll sleep together."

Eichi took out his sleeping bag and crawled inside. The two Pikachu lay beside him.

Eichi patted Pikachu and said, "Good night, everyone. Good night, Pikachu."

At night, beside a flickering fire, a group of Pokémon slept gathered around a sleeping bag.
