Previous Life

In Huo Yuhao’s previous life, Ice Empress, Tian Meng, and Snow Empress accompanied him from weakness to godhood. All three supported his decision to kill Tang San. Although they could have left him after his ascension and lived indefinitely in a lower plane, none chose to abandon him 182 184.

Recruitment in the Extreme North

Tian Meng brings Huo Yuhao to the Extreme North and openly challenges Ice Empress to appear. Ice Empress arrives in her scorpion form, initially wary because she cannot discern the human’s strength. Tian Meng’s recruitment proposal interests her, but the announcement that its original arrangement has been disrupted nearly provokes her into attacking 22 23.

Huo Yuhao’s manifestation of the Eye of Destiny changes her assessment immediately. She reasons that someone capable of using a Divine Artifact must be a Deity, a successor, or an exceptionally talented individual. She agrees to cooperate voluntarily, making Tian Meng’s contemplated plan to force a contract unnecessary 23.

The original proposal would have made Ice Empress Huo Yuhao’s second Martial Soul. Electrolux instead suggests using her Ultimate Ice to evolve his existing, unformed ice Martial Soul without imposing a beast’s physical form. After three days of planning, Ice Empress signs the contract and permits the separation of her soul and cultivation 23 25.

Life with Huo Yuhao

After reconstructing her body, Huo Yuhao begins supplying the Ultimate Ice she needs to recover. Ice Empress also contacts Snow Empress at his request, enabling their first meeting in this life. She subsequently accompanies him and Tian Meng to Shrek City, where she meets his mother, Huo Yun’er 26 28.

Her curiosity grows as she observes Tian Meng’s devotion, Snow Empress’s trust, and Gu Yuena’s responsiveness to Huo Yuhao. Eventually, she asks why he knows her personality, preferences, and habits so well. Ice Empress rushes back in concern, only to discover Snow Empress and Huo Yuhao kissing. After initially withdrawing, she has a private conversation with Snow Empress; the two reconcile and form the Ice and Snow Alliance 182 184.

Godhood and the Abyss

Gu Yuena’s attempt to assert dominance inadvertently provides the pressure Ice Empress needs to reach God-level. Rather than continuing an unwinnable confrontation, Ice Empress steps aside and resumes cultivating, determined to challenge the Dragon King again when she is stronger 271 272.

After learning that Huo Yuhao has entered another plane, Ice Empress volunteers to guard the Spatial Rift at the bottom of the Abyssal Sea instead of attempting to cross it herself. Snow Empress frequently keeps her company. She maintains the vigil for a year, awaiting his return 297 302.

Following his return, she seeks private cultivation time with him in the Spirit Pagoda Abyss Branch. Her attempts to overcome him still end in defeat, though the transferred Ultimate Ice continues to benefit her. When Huo Yuhao and Snow Empress later return together, Ice Empress takes Snow Empress away while refusing to speak to him 300 302.
