History
Tang San descended into the lower realm in the body of an eight-year-old boy, but the World Will severed his connection to both his true body and the Sea God Trident. Treating the setback as temporary, he relied on the complete Mysterious Heaven Skill, Tang Sect arts, and Hidden Weapons to begin rebuilding his strength. 48 51
He worked as a blacksmith under the name Little San to finance his Martial Soul awakening. After completing the Sea God’s First Trial, he accepted the Second Examination, Hundred Refinements, for its promised Martial Soul Evolution and God-Bestowed Soul Ring. Unbeknownst to him, Huo Yuhao had designed the trial to use him as a forging subject and accelerate his growth for later experiments. 51 87
The prolonged forging process evolved his hammer Martial Soul and transformed his Blue Silver Grass toward the Blue Silver King. This new Martial Soul granted him the ability to devour life force, which he used first on Soul Beasts and later on Soul Masters while rationalizing the practice as the extermination of evil. 98 103
At Shrek Academy, Tang San’s rapid rise and Twin Martial Souls attracted Zhou Yi’s attention. He entered Class Zero, trained obsessively, and increasingly relied on devoured vitality and near-death stimulation to cultivate. His pursuit of strength became tied to resentment toward his original body and a desire to replace it. 127 137 177
Tang San planned to use his mother Ah Yin’s sacrifice to obtain a hundred-thousand-year Soul Ring, but Huo Yuhao instead created and installed a replacement ring while erasing evidence of his involvement. Tang San emerged with a five-ring configuration that shocked Shrek’s Titled Douluo. 178 179 191
During the Soul Master Tournament, his repeated draining of opponents’ vitality exposed him as an Evil Soul Master. After losing the Sky-Shattering Hammer and suffering another collapse in cultivation, he was removed from Star Luo City by Xuan Zi and captured by Huo Yuhao, who sent him into the Holy Spirit Cult as a useful destabilizing force. 224 226
Within the Holy Spirit Cult, Tang San turned captivity into an opportunity: he drained the life force of those exploiting him, gained an Elder’s protection, and rose through the organization. He eventually consumed the cult’s members, reached the threshold of Rank 99, discovered the Rakshasa God inheritance, and became Rakshasa God Tang San after killing Ye Xishui. 240 305 332 333
Appearance
Tang San initially inhabits the body of an eight-year-old boy. As he grows, he is described as pale, slender, black-haired, and feminine or androgynous in appearance; his appearance becomes increasingly gloomy as his cultivation and mental state deteriorate. 48 160 177 234
- His Blue Silver King later manifests as scarlet or black-red, barbed vines after his complete fall into evil. 225 240
- Eight Spider Lances extend from his back and can form blue-black Spider Lance Battle Armor. 147 160
- His evolved hammer had a black-and-silver handle and an unusually small, bamboo-shoot-like head before later being identified as the Sky-Shattering Hammer. 98 224
- As Rakshasa God, he wields a blackish-purple scythe covered in demonic patterns. 332
Personality
Tang San is intensely confident in his own identity and future. Even after losing contact with his Trident and true body, he assumes that his cultivation methods and past experience will inevitably restore his godhood. 48
He is calculating in combat and survival, using poison, Beast Luring Powder, feigned death, and Divine Sense rather than confronting stronger opponents directly. His initial protectiveness toward Little Five and deference toward potential mentors coexist with ruthless pragmatism. 58 160 162 179 200
Repeated trauma, manipulation, and dependence on life-force absorption progressively twist his behavior. He becomes addicted to rapid growth, increasingly brutal toward Soul Beasts and Soul Masters, and eventually stops concealing his Evil Soul Master nature. 137 163 177 225
