Background / History

Li Xin was a renowned Haoyue City knight prodigy, though she had only passed the Quasi-Knight assessment at thirteen. Meeting Ye Tian at the Haoyue Branch Hall, she immediately took responsibility for helping him settle in: she explained the branch hall's rules, cleaned his unused dormitory, and began treating him as her younger brother. 8

She regularly invited Ye Tian out on rest days and assisted him with errands, missions, and selling magical-beast materials. When he sought a mount at Knight Holy Mountain, she escorted him on her Rose Unicorn. 10 17 22

Li Xin willingly became Ye Tian's Retainer Knight after he explained that the contract could raise her Innate Internal Spiritual Energy. The completed contract gave her a close bond with Ye Tian and dramatically accelerated her cultivation through Talent Suppression Sharing. 17 21 24

Her rapid rise intensified her rivalry with childhood friend Lin Jialu. After Ye Tian suggested that the two had likely been manipulated by the man who caused their falling-out, Li Xin chose to discuss the past honestly with Lin Jialu, beginning their reconciliation. 24 26

Li Xin is energetic, warm-hearted, and direct. She quickly includes Ye Tian in her life as a younger brother, readily helps him with practical problems, and is visibly concerned whenever he is endangered or absent. 8 238

She is proud of her growth and highly competitive, especially toward Lin Jialu. Although their rivalry often leads to teasing and arguments, Li Xin ultimately values their history and accepts reconciliation and cooperation. 23 25 33
