Soji established himself as Mizuki Ember in the Yuki Clan, rescued Mei Terumi, and defeated the Seven Ninja Swordsmen. After Kaguya Sora recognized his Hyuga identity, Soji and the Kaguya brothers began investigating the clan’s Bloodline Disease.

• Soji defeated Mizuki Fuukaze, joined the Yuki Clan as Mizuki Ember, and studied its Ice Release scrolls until he mastered the first stage of Melt into Ice.
• Soji rescued Mei Terumi from the Golden Eagle, tamed the bird as Little Gold, and returned to Kirigakure with Mei.
• Soji pledged his personal support for Karatachi Yagura’s bid to become the Fourth Mizukage, while Mizuki Fuukaze reserved the Yuki Clan’s decision for a clan meeting.
• At the competition, the Kaguya Clan expert defeated Suikazan Fuguki and badly wounded Biwa Juzo and Kushimaru Kuriarare, while Raiga Kurosuki defeated a Hozuki Clan fighter.

Soji cured the Kaguya Clan’s Bloodline Disease, gained new Byakugan abilities, and returned to Konoha as the Third Ninja World War began. After Nagato’s power emerged in the Land of Rain, Soji confronted Danzo and then fought the Third Hokage, risking exposure of his identity.

• Soji researched the Kaguya Clan’s Bloodline Disease, developed a serum, and confirmed it cured Kaguya Lan before supplying doses for other patients.
• Soji implanted Kaguya cells into himself, strengthening his Byakugan and awakening Byakugan: Pressure and the weakened Eighty Gods Vacuum Attack, Void Strike.
• Sasori killed the Third Kazekage, whose disappearance helped trigger the Third Ninja World War, and Kirigakure ordered Soji to infiltrate the Land of Fire.
• Karatachi Yagura privately told Soji to treat the mission as a vacation, and Soji returned to Konoha after saying goodbye to Mizuki Fuukaze and the Kaguya Clan.
• Soji reunited with Minato, Kushina Uzumaki, and Uchiha Homura, then warned them about Shimura Danzō’s alliance with Hanzo in the Land of Rain.

Soji obtained Hoshigakure’s meteorite and mastered Ice Wings before joining Minato, Homura, and Kakashi on a mission to Rōran. The Dragon Vein brought Naruto from twenty years in the future, and the group began protecting Queen Sara from Mukade’s puppet robots.

• Soji fought the Third Hokage, escaped with Minato’s help, and was promoted to jonin.
• Soji traveled to Hoshigakure, exposed the dangers of its Mysterious Peacock Method, and won the meteorite from the Third Hoshikage.
• Soji trained with the meteorite, mastered Chakra Wings and then Ice Wings, and accepted a mission to protect Rōran’s Dragon Vein.
• Soji froze Sunagakure forces on the way to Rōran while Naruto and his teammates were pulled into the past when Mukade unleashed the Dragon Vein.
• Kakashi met Yamato, learned that he had traveled twenty years into the past, and entered Rōran with him.
• Soji investigated Rōran and discovered that Anrokuzan had enslaved its men, while Naruto encountered the puppet robots and was rescued by Minato and Homura.

Soji and Minato helped Naruto defeat Mukade in Rōran, where Naruto learned that Minato was his father before returning to his own timeline. Back in their world, Soji injured his soul while developing a new Ice Release technique, then tracked down Tsunade and secured her treatment in exchange for helping her gamble.

• Soji and Minato confirmed that Naruto came from a parallel universe, and Soji revealed the truth to Uchiha Homura before exposing Mukade’s control over Rōran’s citizens.
• Naruto and Sara discovered Mukade’s puppet factory, and Soji, Minato, Homura, and Naruto fought Mukade while Sara freed the prisoners and severed the Dragon Vein’s power.
• Soji sealed Mukade’s connection to the Dragon Vein, and Minato and Naruto combined their Rasengan to defeat him before Sara renewed her vow to lead Rōran.
• Naruto learned that Minato was his father and asked about his parents and the Nine-Tails, while Homura learned about the Uchiha Clan’s future and vowed to protect Itachi and Sasuke.
• Minato sealed the Dragon Vein and sent Naruto and Yamato home, then sealed Kakashi’s memories of the Rōran mission for twenty years.
