A few minutes later, the Magic Thread stirred. Velin gripped the fishing rod with both hands and pulled it up directly.
Hearing the commotion, everyone turned to look. Their eyes were filled with curiosity as they stared at the spear wrapped in Magic Thread.
After removing the spear from the fishing rod and wiping away the grime, Velin examined its black shaft. There was no writing on it.
As he stroked the Black Spear, Velin found it strangely familiar, yet he could not recall where he had seen it before.
Tayana, the Wind Fairy who had been communicating with the spirit of the Rulayoka Tree, saw what was happening by the Seven-Colored River. She temporarily stopped and flew over curiously.
Arriving beside Velin, she looked at the Black Spear in his hand. Surprise appeared on her face as she could not help saying, "Velin, your luck is incredible. You actually managed to fish up something from the Age of Behemoths."
"Something from the Age of Behemoths? Really?" Velin stroked the Black Spear's shaft, his voice full of doubt.
How could something millions of years old have no unusual effects at all?
Hearing Velin's words, Tayana was equally puzzled. Shaking her head, she said, "The traces of time on it cannot be wrong. This Black Spear truly came from millions of years ago. As for why it looks so ordinary, I do not know. Perhaps you are not its master, or perhaps you are not strong enough to make it reveal its original form."
"That was probably it."
Without a better explanation, Velin could only temporarily believe that this Black Spear from the Age of Behemoths had not met its true wielder, which was why it had not revealed its original form.
After all, even a Legendary Weapon might not survive
