Three hours later, the hundreds of light clusters had been sorted into valuable items, items that could be given away, and items whose value could not be determined.
Reaching out to fiddle with the three strange objects floating in the air, Velin sensed bizarre forces within them. They were incompatible with this world, yet existed in reality in an utterly uncanny way.
"Do you want to study them?"
Hearing her husband's words, Xuemiyya shook her head and said, "The remaining thirteen are enough for me to study slowly. These three are a little too strange. You could try letting Lord Tadius or Uncle-in-Law examine them. You might gain something unexpected."
"Of course, giving them to Grandpa to study would be the best choice, but you..."
Before Xuemiyya, Velin did not hide anything and told the truth. "In recent years, unless something major happens, I haven't dared to go looking for Grandpa."
"You weren't afraid of Grandpa before!"
"Before was before, and now is now. Anyway, it isn't anything important. Let's first have Lord Tadius or Uncle-in-Law study them."
"Fine, we'll do as you say."
After saying that, Xuemiyya put away the thirteen items whose value could not be identified. She then stood up, came to sit beside Velin, rested her head against his shoulder, closed her eyes, and felt the breeze.
"What is it?"
Turning his head, Velin gently kissed his wife's forehead and asked curiously.
A relaxed expression appeared on Xuemiyya's face as she answered softly, "Nothing. I just wanted to lean against your shoulder for a while."
Seeing this, Velin did not ask any further questions. With a wave of his hand, he put away all the remaining items, then sat on the Grassland and served as Xuemiyya's support.
Before she knew it, Xuemiyya had fallen asleep.
