Elsewhere, Velin arrived at the dining hall and sat down directly on the left side of the long table.
"Where's Big Brother?"
Xuemiyya reached out and nudged Velin as she asked.
Velin shook his head and replied, "Big Brother won't be coming back. Let's just eat."
A trace of concern appeared on Aisilia's face as she sat on the right side of the long table. "Velin, did something happen?"
Hearing this, Velin turned to look at Aisilia and answered with a smile, "There are some important matters Big Brother needs to handle. For the next few days, Sister-in-law, you may need to accompany us to visit some other places."
"Is that so?"
Aisilia sat down, half-convinced and half-doubtful, planning to check on Ilisis later and sound him out.
However, she would most likely learn nothing.
After all, given her husband's personality, once he had made up his mind, he would only share good news with her and never his worries.
Half an hour later, the dinner ended, and everyone headed to their guest rooms with different thoughts on their minds.
After entering the room, Velin went to the bedside and threw himself onto the bed.
Only after Xuemiyya had shut the doors and windows and set up a Magic Barrier to prevent anyone from peeping did she come to the bedside. Looking at Velin with his eyes closed, she bent down and kissed his lips before asking, "What happened with Big Brother?"
"Some places in Moon Shadow County are connected to an evil cult." Velin raised his hands and pulled Xuemiyya into his arms. Feeling the soft touch against his chest, he answered quietly.
"This is a serious matter!"
Xuemiyya struggled symbolically a few times. Seeing that he had no intention of letting go, she let him have his way.
