"Can't I meet an old friend here?"
Aymond, who had been wondering why he had happened to encounter the Eternal Dawn Knight so coincidentally, suddenly looked up. Seeing Velin smiling at him, he seemed to understand something.
"You had your suspicions the moment you heard my voice, didn't you?" Velin said as he removed his disguise, revealing his original face.
Upon seeing that familiar face clearly, Aymond abruptly stood up. He looked at Velin, opened his mouth, but did not know what to say.
He had imagined that the Eternal Dawn Knight might be Velin, but when he actually faced him, he did not know how to respond.
Seeing this, Velin stood, walked around the square table to Aymond, spread his arms, and embraced him. Patting his back, he said, "Long time no see, Aymond."
"Long time no see, Velin..." Aymond slowly raised his arms and hugged Velin, but then seemed to realize something. He lowered his hands and said with slight respect, "Long time no see, Lord Eternal Dawn Knight."
Velin released Aymond and said, "I'm sorry for meeting you in that manner back then. I apologize to you here. So, as friends, can you and the North Wind Adventure Team give me a chance—a chance to apologize to you?"
Hearing Velin's words, Aymond gently shook his head. "Lord Eternal Dawn Knight, actually, we never..."
"Just call me by my name, or address me in the way you're most familiar with," Velin interrupted. "You're my friend, so I don't think there should be a rift between us because of our statuses."
Aymond slowly raised his head and met Velin's earnest gaze. After pondering for a moment, he said, "I understand."
"Alright, let me introduce you." Velin pointed at Xuemya and said, "This is my wife, Xuemya Ex."
