"There's no rush yet."
Cassius set down the document in his hand, turned to Talion, and slowly said, "According to Lord Angus's reply, the Middle Army, formed by the Twenty-second Legion, the Fifth Mage Legion, and one hundred thousand Aeran Auxiliary Army troops, has reached the most critical stage of its offensive against the Okra Kingdom's forces in Aurien Province."
"Once the forces in Aurien Province have been wiped out, it will be time for us to launch a new offensive."
"By then, the northern and eastern sides of the Okra Kingdom's heartland will be completely sealed off by us."
"We can use this opening to make use of those tens of thousands of prisoners, organizing them into Auxiliary Army units of around three to five thousand men each. They will be easier to control and can also ease our shortage of troops."
Talion rose to his feet and replied, "General Cassius, leave this matter to me."
"Very well."
Hearing this, Cassius nodded. He then used battle aura to lift the list in his hand and send it before Talion. "You can send people to investigate those on this list further."
"For those who have surrendered, investigate their backgrounds first and decide whether they should be purged."
"As for those who offered up their cities in exchange for leaving the Okra Kingdom with their wealth and families, investigate what they did in the past. If they still have some humanity left, let them go. If they are no different from beasts, find a unit and disguise them as rebel troops."
