The instant the battle ended, the fort's gates opened. A team of over thirty rushed straight onto the battlefield. Upon reaching the gray creatures' corpses, they first laid wooden boards on the ground, then worked together to drag the bodies onto them.
Only after these preparations did they slowly begin cutting up the corpses.
