"Then, Lord Midas, do you know who researched the Flower of Decay for you?" Velin stared at the humanoid petal creature and asked.
"That memory was not preserved within this consciousness. I do not know who helped me research the Flower of Decay either." The humanoid petal creature shook its head and replied calmly.
"If you wish to find the answer to that question, the next place—my Manor—may have the answer you seek. However, I cannot be certain whether the me from so long ago left those memories within the Manor's consciousness."

After saying that, the humanoid petal creature began to disperse, giving Velin and Kyle no chance to ask further questions.
The petals dancing through the air gathered atop the remains of the Flower of Decay, forming a passage to the Manor.
Velin turned to look at Midas Garden, burying the memories of his life with the Flower of Decay deep in his heart. After composing himself, he stepped through the petal door.
Kyle followed closely behind, stepping through the petal door and entering the next trial ground.
Not long after the two departed, the petal door collapsed and returned to its humanoid form. It gently waved at the Flower of Decay, and time began to reverse.
The withered trunk radiated vitality as time rewound within a radius of a hundred meters.
Half an hour later, the eighteen-meter-tall trunk turned back into a Seed and merged into the humanoid petal creature's body.
Then, with another grasp at the void, the two Seeds of the Flower of Decay returned to his hand and were absorbed into his body.
"Good luck."
After saying that, the humanoid petal creature dispersed once more. The scattered petals drifted over the barren black earth, then flowers grew anew, filling in the blank patch
