After the Noble Council concluded, the many nobles of Kadlo Province began their final mobilization.
At the beginning of August, Velin, accompanied by Cassius, began inspecting the training of the lower nobles' army at the military camp outside Star Prayer City.
After twenty-four months of intensive training, these four thousand men had been utterly transformed compared to when they had first begun. On the surface, the most obvious difference was that they had become darker.

"If they march at a normal pace, they can go for five days and four nights without rest," Cassius added.
"They have trained well." Velin nodded in satisfaction, then said, "Have those brigade commanders come see me."
"Yes, my lord."
Inside the wooden house, five brigade commanders stood before Velin, bowed, and respectfully said, "Greetings,
